Vitus Audio RD-101 Mk.II is now Roon Labs Ready.

We are pleased to announce that the Vitus Audio RD-101 Mk.II has now completed the Roon Ready certification process.

Roon Ready certification confirms the full integration of Roon’s streaming technology into the RD-101 Mk.II, allowing it to operate directly as a Roon endpoint as part of a Roon-based music system.

For us, adding functionality to a Vitus Audio product is never simply about adding another feature to a specification sheet.

It has to work properly, integrate reliably and preserve the performance and musical integrity that the product was designed around.

The completion of Roon Ready certification therefore represents the final step in bringing Roon integration to the RD-101 Mk.II at the level we expect before making it available to our customers.

The RD-101 Mk.II remains fundamentally what it was designed to be: a Reference Series digital source built around the same principles that define Vitus Audio — engineering integrity, longevity and an uncompromising focus on the music.

The Vitus Audio RD-101 Mk.II is now officially Roon Ready.

Existing RD-101 Mk.II units may require a software update in order to enable Roon functionality.

The new SM-025, at the heart of the system.

At the StereoNET UK Hi-Fi & AV Expo, the new SM-025 Monaural Power Amplifiers formed a key part of Airt Audio’s reference system, partnered with the SL-103 Linestage and SD-025 DAC / Streamer.

Driving the Avalon Acoustics Saga Signature loudspeakers, the system provided a fitting environment to demonstrate what the SM-025 was designed to deliver… control, resolution, exceptional silence and musical authenticity.

A look back at the StereoNET UK Hi-Fi Show last week.

Vitus Audio played a significant part in two standout systems across the show, featuring in both the Monitor Audio and Airt Audio rooms.

In the Airt Audio room, the SL-103 Linestage, SD-025 DAC and new SM-025 Monaural Power Amplifiers came together as part of a carefully considered reference system, a fitting demonstration of the engineering and musical integrity behind the Signature Series.
