RISE DIGITAL MERGES WITH VERTICAL STRATEGY

Yesterday we announced that we have joined forces with VERTICAL STRATEGY. We have had 6 incredible years as Rise Digital, but we are now ready to move on to a new and exciting chapter together with the amazing guys from VERTICAL. And we are really looking forward to this new adventure!

HUMAN PRACTICE FOUNDATION WEBSITE IS LAUNCHED!

This year has been an interesting start for us and one of the many reasons is getting involved in a project like Human Practice Foundation

We have had the privilege to design and develop the website for this inspiring project and foundation: https://en.humanpractice.org/

In short, Human Practice Foundation is an NGO that is supporting quality education and local income generation in Nepal and Kenya.
The foundation was founded in 2014 by Pernille Kruse Madsen (and Chairman Lars Förberg) with support from a group of financiers called the Founding Fathers.
Together they make sure that every single donation in full will go to establishing schools and educations in the poorest towns and mountain areas in both Nepal and Kenya.

At Rise we always strive to “Rise above ordinary. Working with Human Practice Foundation has been both a meaningful journey as we have come to know more about and getting insight in what is happening in the poorest areas in Kenya and Nepal - and realising how we can be involved in making a difference in very concrete ways. It has been very inspiring to work with people like Pernille Kruse Madsen as her big heart for this project has indeed affected us and giving us even more motivation.

Yay! We hosted the last CodHer event and it was awesome! Thanks for the Codher team and all the participants for spending the evening with us, sharing projects and hopefully learnin' new stuff :) We hope we will get the opportunity to host again soon!

Local weather forecast it is!

Yesterday, the Danish Meteorological Institute (DMI), opened the beta version of their new site – a site that we have been a part of in close collaboration with the super-talented people from Blixt & Dunder ☺ And we are very happy with the outcome.

It is, first and foremost, launched as a beta version in order to give the users a chance to make use of the site and give their feedback.

Nevertheless, we hope you will enjoy these new improvements on the beta site and that it will give you a better view of your local weather forecast. And by local, we even mean in your local neighbourhood ☺

HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM TEAM RISE! :D

We are looking forward to an exciting 2018! One of our most important traditions is to start the year by going away together as a team, work together, discuss or strategies and visions for the upcoming year and spend some quality time together in beautiful and warm surroundings.

This year, we will be in Marrakech!
A team of us arrived this morning, and we will greet the rest on Saturday! We are really excited for an adventurous week together with delicious Morrocan food, camel tours, visiting beautiful gardens and exotic markets 😍
