A Strong Evening of Danish Defence Networking in Paris
It was a pleasure to represent SecPoint at the Maison du Danemark Networking Event during Eurosatory 2026, hosted by the Danish Embassy in Paris at the Danish House on the Champs-Élysées.
The reception brought together representatives from Danish and international defence companies, government institutions and industry organizations. It provided an excellent setting for exchanging perspectives, developing new relationships and continuing conversations from Eurosatory.
Earlier in the day, I also had a valuable discussion with Dustin Paul Wilden from CenSec about the cybersecurity needs of critical infrastructure customers and how SecPoint solutions can help identify vulnerabilities, monitor exposure and strengthen cyber resilience.

We also appreciated the presence of Brigadier General Nicolas Teodors Veicherts, Denmark’s Defence Attaché in Paris, whose work contributes to stronger Danish-French defence cooperation.
The evening took place against the backdrop of deepening Danish-French security cooperation. In March 2026, Denmark accepted France’s invitation to participate in a strategic dialogue on nuclear deterrence. The initiative is intended to complement NATO’s nuclear deterrence while leaving Denmark’s existing nuclear-weapons policy unchanged.
In practical terms, nuclear deterrence seeks to discourage an adversary from attacking European allies by making the potential consequences unacceptable. It does not mean that Denmark is acquiring nuclear weapons or gaining control over France’s nuclear arsenal, which remains under French authority.
