Celebrating a great achievement in The Ocean Race Sprint Cup 2023! 🏆 Securing an impressive 2nd Place in the final In Port Race. Despite the challenging light breeze, our team fought hard, showcasing their determination and skill.

We where delighted to have Paolo Mirpuri, president of Mirpuri Foundation, as helmsman as well as the brilliant tactician, Frederico Melo, onboard.

A well-deserved second-place finish! 🌊⛵️

After 12 days of racing, yesterday was the day of arrivals in Genova, with 7 boats across two classes pushing towards the Grand Finale.

In very light conditions we continued racing - very slowly - towards Genova. Follow a total shutdown on the final approach, Race Committee had decided to move the finish line to allow the last boats to motor to the port, and we took 5th place.

As the dust settles on the VO65 Sprint Cup Stage 3 from The Hague to Genova, we'd like to say a huge congratulations to and on their podium finishes and thank you for a great battle!

Saturday we will be back to racing with the Genova In-Port race 🇮🇹

🌊 Exciting News! 🌊

Trifork is proud to announce our official partnership with The Ocean Race Legends Regatta in Genova! 🎉

As the grand finale of the 14th edition of The Ocean Race, this regatta brings together iconic race boats and legendary figures from the event's 50-year history.

🏆 Having been a Presenting Partner for the Aarhus stopover and collaborating with the Mirpuri Foundation VO65 for Trifork-Mirpuri Racing, we are thrilled to further cement our involvement in The Ocean Race with this special 50-year Anniversary Legends Regatta.

The Legends Regatta showcases yachts from the historic Whitbread Round The World Race in 1973 to the VO70s that dominated the early 21st century. It's an incredible gathering of sailing legends, including race winners Paul Cayard (USA) and Ian Walker (GBR), who will be in Genova to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Our partnership includes a customized guest engagement program for the Grand Finale, prominent brand visibility throughout the Legends Regatta events, and the opportunity to showcase Trifork's business and our passion for sailing to a new audience.

The breeze intensified, drenching OBR Danny, and abruptly subsided, returning to gentle breezes after reaching 30 knots of wind.

Currently on 3rd place 2 nm behind racing up the Spanish coast.

“Basically we've been match racing Team J**O all day. They just sort of slam tacked on us, so they've let their intentions be known! But it's also let the Mexican team catch us as well, so it's basically a three boat race (behind WindWhisper)... It's WindWhisper's race to lose now and meanwhile we have a good battle back here." Today has been another thrilling race day for our team, characterized by light breezes and a continuous fight for the second position. 🫣

As we make our way into Gibraltar, we are currently holding onto second place, with hot on our heels, trailing us by a mere 0.8 nautical miles.
