Born with hearing loss, Pedro turned what many might see as a challenge into his greatest strength, becoming an acoustics engineer with a deep passion for sound.

After years of working in the hearing aid industry, he founded Auricle in 2018 to redefine how we experience audio. Through countless research phases and iterations, Pedro and the team have arrived at a groundbreaking innovation: awareONE, our first product.

What is Bone Conduction and how does it work? 👂🏻

Resting on cheekbones, bone conduction headphones work by transmitting sound vibrations through the human skull and skin, bypassing the ear canal, straight into the inner ear. Your ears are left open, so you have a parallel hearing channel so you are always aware of your surroundings.
