Each week, volunteers from prevent over 2,000kg of perfectly good food from going to waste by fixing the supply chain issues and ensuring it reaches families in need instead. To support them and their mission, we’re excited to invite everyone to the next edition of our event at the beautiful Talent Garden Cafe.

If you are a Worthmore member access to this event is free, otherwise the ticket is 150 DKK. More info on becoming a Worthmore member can be found at www.worthmore.io/en/events

Your ticket grants you access to a free bar from 6-11pm, featuring handmade cocktails, beer, and non-alcoholic options, along with some snacks. Moreover, it sponsors a free box containing approximately ~10kg of food for a family in need, helping to save food and support the community. Together, we can take a stand against food waste in Copenhagen! 🌱🍽️

We look forward to seeing you there :)

After a lot of hard work, the first video from the Worthmore Impact Fund will go live today, showcasing how we were able to provide 2 years of support to 50 girls who previously could not afford to have a safe and healthy period, in collaboration with and our first impact partner Mary Consolata Namagambe.

I have been working on getting this impact-focused telecom live, funded, working, and impactful for over 2 years now, and to see it finally at a stage where I can confidently share it with you, and invite my friends and family to switch to Worthmore and become a part of our movement to fight wasteful ad spending, makes me so excited and happy.

The video will premiere tonight at 8pm to the general public, and this is just the beginning of the impactful actions that my team and I will be executing with the funds raised from people who have decided to switch their mobile phone subscription to Worthmore. There is still a long way to go, but no matter what happens, I know we will have positively impacted the lives of these young women and helped raise awareness for a problem that really should not exist.

If you would like to check out the premiere of the first video, you can do so at the link below (super cool if while you are there you mark notify me + subscribe to our new channel) & to anyone in my network that has a DK number - know i have set a goal to get to 1000 subscribers within the next 3 months.

If you are able to support my team and I, we would appreciate if you switched your mobile phone subscription to Worthmore. This is just the beginning, and having your support from the early days would really mean the world to us.

Finally, if you are around Copenhagen tonight and would like to meet up, share some drinks, and watch the video together, then let's do that. We are hosting a get-together at Talent Garden Copenhagen with 150kr access to an unlimited bar with beer and cocktails from 6-11. Hope to see some of you there!

So excited to share my first time being published in a hardcover book - "Doers & Dreamers" by Jonathan Løw and Viktoria Stoyanova. As the founder and CEO of Worthmore, I could not be more proud to be featured alongside amazing and globally recognized founders such as the CTO of Spotify, the CEO of Airbnb, and the COO of Pleo, among others, as we share our thoughts and experiences as "Doers and Dreamers" who aim to create a future we can all be proud of.

There is a free e-book (I am on page 78 haha), but for anyone interested in buying the hardcover version (a nice Christmas gift for any entrepreneur you know), then in true Worthmore fashion, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to .

Both versions can be found here https://doers23.com/ - And yes that is my Christmas tree :D

It's great to hear that efforts are being made to address the issue of plastic pollution in the ocean! Collaborative actions and initiatives like the one can indeed make a significant impact on environmental challenges.

The fact that removing 1 kilo of plastic from the ocean for every person on Earth would match the amount entering the ocean highlights the importance of collective action in combating pollution. By working together, we can achieve much more than individual efforts alone.

Efforts to remove 44,000 kilos of plastic from the ocean are commendable, and it's heartening to see organizations like Clean Sea taking an active role in promoting environmental issues.

Empowering and supporting changemakers at Worthmore, like Clean Sea, can have a profound impact on addressing environmental challenges and creating positive change.

We expect the upcoming platform launch, and I hope it paves the way for positive change and widespread support for environmental causes.

Driven by a single powerful vision, Mary C. Namagambe () , founder of She For She (), is changing lives. Due to her incredible dedication, over 4000 girls from Senegal, to Kenya to Conakry to Tanzania to Gambia to Uganda have received She for She pads.

A true changemaker, Mary, an entrepreneur, feminist, and a Master in Law, knows the importance of menstrual health. This belief ignited a collaboration with Belas Boxing and resulted in a charity boxing event. More than 100 women banded together to raise funds and awareness for menstrual health, a cause often overlooked.

The raised funds were then used to donate pads to girls in Uganda in collaboration with the Charity Health Advocacy Foundation. This initiative has empowered these girls with the freedom to attend school, play, and engage in activities, regardless of their menstrual cycle.

At Worthmore, we're not just about offering telecom services. We're about excited to soon launch a platform that empowers and supports changemakers like Mary. We're committed to building a telecom service that makes it easy for you to support initiatives that truly matter.

A menstrual pad is more than just a pad. It's a symbol of freedom, dignity, and empowerment. Thank you Mary for your hard work and we hope you continue to inspire and enact change in 2023 and beyond. Together, we can redefine the norms and . Here's to those who inspire us to do more. 🌍💚

This week 50 years ago, the first cell phone call was made. On April 3, 1973, history was made when Motorola engineer Martin Cooper made the first ever cellphone call — to a rival. Cooper was standing on New York's Sixth Avenue when he hoisted the 2.5-pound prototype to his ear and dialed up Joel Engel of AT&T-owned Bell Laboratories.

The first video call was in 1964 when AT&T Bell Labs connected two New Jersey and Illinois locations. This was a significant breakthrough in communication technology, as it allowed people to see each other while talking for the first time. Today, video calling is commonplace, with applications like Zoom, FaceTime, and Google making it easy for people to connect with each other from anywhere.

Today, the average professional spends 3.6 hours per day on video calls & according to a study by the University of Surrey, the average carbon emissions for a 1-hour video call is approximately 0.6 kg of CO2. However, is one of the few ways has significantly reduced , as it eliminates the need for people to travel to have face-to-face conversations. If you are looking to reduce your digital carbon footprint even further through technology, you can take the below steps to

1. Use video conferencing platforms that are powered by renewable energy sources. Many video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom, are now powered by renewable energy sources, which can help reduce your carbon footprint.

2. Turn off your computer or laptop camera when you are not using it, this will help reduce the energy used during video calls.

3. Use a headset or earphones instead of speakers, as they also consume significantly less energy to power.

Besides making funny videos on YouTube, MrBeast has donated over $20 million to various causes, ranging from helping the homeless to supporting animal shelters. In addition to donating money, he has also created a platform to activate his network and help people raise money for their causes.

Worthmore has been inspired by his philanthropic efforts and the idea of using social media and technology to activate a new generation of people genuinely fighting for a better future for all.

His work has shown that anyone can make a difference, no matter how small their contribution may be, and that anyone can be a philanthropist with a camera, an authentic mission, and a group of friends.

Check out his latest video, where he helps donate 20.000 pairs of shoes to kids in need.
