Last Thursday, our Barcelona team celebrated Sant Jordi, one of Catalonia’s most beloved traditions. 🌹📖

A day dedicated to love, culture, and connection, Sant Jordi brings people together through the exchange of roses and books, filling the streets of Barcelona with stories, color, and community.

At Milestone, our Barcelona department brought the Sant Jordi spirit into the office by sharing roses, cake, and time together as a team. Moments like these reflect the connections and values that help make our workplace culture meaningful.

This year’s theme, Owning the Future, couldn’t be more exciting, and we’re proud to be part of it with our very own networking booth.

TechDay is a fully student-driven event and organization, and it also marks its 5th anniversary this year set to be the biggest yet, with 1,000+ participants joining.

With a strong focus on digital sovereignty and the future of technology, we’re looking forward to connecting with students and like-minded people to share ideas, spark conversations, and explore how Milestone is shaping what’s next.

International Women’s Day Americas Event💙✨

In recognition of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, Milestone recently hosted a panel of some of our extraordinary female leaders across the Americas region. Panelists talked through questions of their own experiences as leaders in women in technology. 🚀

Some themes in the panel included:

Challenges they faced on their tech journeys that helped them grow in positive ways,
What they would tell their younger selves looking back starting out in technology,
Times they felt supported or had space made for them by male allies,
Things we can stop/start doing in the workplace that will help move the needle for women in male dominated industries, to name a few.
Office events in Portland and Mexico City brought together employees onsite to enjoy festivities honoring our female colleagues, with over 100+ employees also joining remotely!👩‍💻

Today, the technology supports many parts of modern life, from smoother airport travel to helping prevent violence at public venues. But as AI advances, the conversation is shifting.

It’s no longer just about what facial recognition can do. It’s about how and where it should be used, and ensuring clear, transparent rules guide its use.

For technology providers, responsibility must be built into the systems themselves, including solutions that help organizations use video data while protecting people’s identities.🔷

Milestone Heart To Start 5K | 10K💙

This past Saturday, February 21, our Milestone group walked and ran in the local Heart To Start 5K and 10K races in the Portland area.✨

February is American Heart Month, and the Heart To Start races are a great way for people of all athletic abilities to get moving with family and friends while supporting heart health. It’s more about movement than pace and a welcoming event for first-timers or anyone getting back into a routine.

Despite the wet weather, our Milestone team persevered and finished strong.🚀

Race day stats:
• 9 Milestone participants
• 3 completed the 10K
• 6 walked the 5K
• 2 Milestone dogs joined the race

Thank you to the team for a fun race and a healthy start to the year.💙

Community is at the heart of everything we do.
This year’s North America Sales & Marketing Kickoff wrapped up with one of our favorite traditions, a team‑building charity event that brings us together for something bigger than ourselves.
After a day of breakout sessions, our teams joined forces to assemble backpacks for children in need. 🎒💙
These backpacks go to students identified by local school districts who may not have reliable access to meals over the weekend, a mission supported by , an organization we’re proud to stand behind.
Since 2017, giving back has been a core part of our kickoff events, and it continues to be a priority for us. Being part of positive change isn’t just something we talk about, it’s something we do together.
Here’s to community, connection, and making a meaningful impact. 💫
