Meet Albert 👋

As a Student Assistant in Global Planning Excellence, Albert Caballeria joined GN with a curiosity for technology, audio, and the opportunity to learn in a global environment.

From day one, Albert has felt genuinely supported. Colleagues take the time to explain the bigger picture behind projects and decisions, answer questions and share context – making his learning curve much easier and showing that his development truly matters to the team.

Through GN’s Early Career Talks, Albert has also gained insight into different career journeys, how teams work across GN, and the small choices that can make a big difference early in your career.

His main takeaway? The importance of determination and continuously learning, asking questions and taking ownership of your work.

Turing hearing aids into high fashion.

Together with HAN Kjøbenhavn and NoA/&Co., we reimagined what hearing aids can represent on one of Europe’s most influential runways: Copenhagen Fashion Week 2025. Backstage, we fitted hearing aids on models with hearing loss—selected deliberately to tell a deeper story.

Earlier this month, we hosted the annual GN Open House – a day for colleagues across GN to explore new products, share insights and connect across brands and businesses.

For Vanesa Kerkelic, Senior Product Marketing Manager in GN's Hearing division, the event turned our purpose of bringing people closer into a very real moment. While demoing with our latest ReSound Vivia hearing aids and the ReSound Smart 3D app, she met a colleague from R&D who had helped develop the Auracast specifications for our hearing aids but had never experienced the technology in action before. It became a true end-to-end moment - from concept to real-world implementation.

“GN Open House provides a platform for knowledge and insights sharing across different businesses and departments – and we also get the chance to connect with colleagues we usually don’t work closely with. There are many things happening behind the scenes that we don’t get to see in our daily work. That’s why it’s especially rewarding to see where ideas originate – and, for others, how concepts are ultimately brought to life in our products and marketing communication.”

The day also gave her a chance to revisit her Jabra roots, discovering innovative earbud prototypes that might come to market in the future – a reminder of how we at GN keep pushing new use cases and experiences.

Last week, we hosted this year’s GN Open House for colleagues across GN Group.

For Weronika Anna Truszynska, Market Analyst in Jabra, the day was a reminder of what she values most about GN: The openness and welcoming culture that brings our people closer.

“I think it’s a GN trait that people here tend to be very welcoming and open. It was great to walk up to each booth, talk to the presenters and learn more about areas we don’t work with every day.”

Exploring booths across brands, joining quizzes and talking to new colleagues broadened her horizons - and left her especially proud of SteelSeries and their innovative gaming launches.
