Outside of work, Kirstine is a creative at heart, sewing, gardening and photography are how she recharges. That creative streak and her eye for aesthetics are already bringing great energy to the team 🫂

We're excited to announce a new chapter for Renewtech 🌱

After six years of outstanding leadership, Bjarne Aarup is stepping down as CEO, and we could not be more grateful for what he has built.

Under his leadership, Renewtech has grown from a Danish IT hardware specialist to a multi-country operation across 5 countries, serving customers in more than 80 markets. We are pleased that Bjarne will continue to be part of Renewtech as he joins the Board of Directors.

Effective 18 May, Claudio Christensen takes over as CEO. Claudio brings deep experience scaling B2B businesses internationally, including senior roles at IBM, Solar and most recently as Country MD at Ahlsell Denmark. He knows how to keep a business growing through ownership transitions, integrations and new market opportunities.

The case for circular IT has never been stronger. Better for costs. Better for sustainability. Exactly what enterprise customers are looking for 💚

Strengthening our compliance capabilities 👏

We’re excited to welcome Marie Bjerre Simonsen, who joined Renewtech as our new Senior Compliance Specialist on the 1st of May!

With over 10 years of experience across cyber and information security as well as regulatory requirements, Marie brings deep, hands‑on expertise in ISO standards, NIS2 and risk management. She has also facilitated workshops that turn complex requirements into clear, actionable steps.

As we continue to grow our local presence across Europe, compliance expectations are rising as well.

We already operate under ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and 27001, and Marie will play a key role in further maturing and strengthening our management systems — ensuring we stay proactive as regulations evolve 💚

Welcome to the team, Marie! We are looking forward to the journey ahead! 👋

Our warehouse and technical teams just got an upgrade! 💥

We are delighted to welcome seven new colleagues to the Renewtech team.

In our Disassembly team, two new Junior Technicians (both named Mads!) have joined us to ready hardware for the next steps in our process.

Our Network and Engineering departments also welcome three new Junior Technicians: Allan and two colleagues named Andreas. All three are already learning the way of giving hardware a second life ♻️

Finally, Martin and Magnus have joined our warehouse team as Junior Warehouse Operators – ensuring your better choice of hardware is on its way to you fast and safely.

All of them are already doing a fantastic job, and we are so happy to have them as part of our team 💚

A fresh face takes his first steps at Renewtech!

We are happy to announce that Per Forberg has joined our team as our new Account Manager for Sustainable Relations 🙌

Per is certainly no rookie to the IT landscape, bringing years of experience from various corners of the sector.

At Renewtech, he will be responsible for strategic sourcing and building sustainable partnerships.

He'll focus on ITAD to ensure enterprise hardware gets the second life it deserves ♻️

Off the clock, Per is a passionate skier and cyclist, so he knows a thing or two about navigating different terrains.

And we are confident that his ability to slalom through challenges will be a huge asset as he balances the diverse needs of our partners ⛷️

Bolstering our Nordic presence with another great addition to our team 👏

We are thrilled to welcome Jouni Salo as our new Account Manager for the Swedish market 🇸🇪

Jouni brings almost 20 years of experience from sales across Scandinavia, while also bringing in knowledge about one of the brands on stock, Cisco.

Despite being responsible for our Swedish market, he is quite the multilingual as he can speak Finnish (his mother tongue), Danish, English and of course Swedish.

Today, we celebrate Rene’s 10-years anniversary at Renewtech 🎉

From deep technical insight and high commitment to being a vital part of keeping our culture and values alive every single day during the fast-paced development at our company.

For a decade, René has left a significant mark on our journey 👏

His history actually goes back even further, as he started his career here as an IT Support Apprentice. After a brief time away, he returned and has now officially clocked in a full decade as Product Manager of IBM and Lenovo System X!
