Do you want a 🔥 loyalty program, but unsure of what efforts really make a difference to your customers? The basic elements of a great loyalty program are:

😍 Reinforcement – The brain replicates good experiences, and by rewarding customers for their action, you’re creating a good experience they want to experience again.

🎮 Gamification – Recurring small tasks and rewards typically have a greater effect on customers loyalty than larger and less frequent rewards.

🎁 Variation – Different prizes and rewards in a loyalty program are a great way to satisfy different customer segments. Varied content creates a sense of urgency.

2. When a customer in your shopping center is lost

While there’s not much to do about the first, the second is somewhat more manageable; Because, a key way to cater to and keep your customers, is by knowing know your customers.

Oftentimes, shopping center customers are not more than a number So, what do you do about?

While you could have a chat with every customer who enters your shopping center, or have them fill out a survey, that probably isn’t the most sustainable (or enjoyable) way to go about it.

Instead, we’d argue that a great way to get to know your customers is through the data you can access when you have an owned media platform for your shopping center (we’ll naturally suggest a loyalty app 😏).

That way, both you and your customers win: They get an improved shopping experience, linking the online and offline, and you get to know what makes them happy and deliver on that, keeping them coming back for more 😍

Last week, the Emplate team met up in Aarhus and spent the Thursday being out learning about nature, connecting and re-connecting with colleagues and eating good food. What’s not to like? 😍

Special thank you to DET for VILDT for hosting us and making sure that we all returned back home with the same amount of limbs as before we left. 🙏

4 aspects to consider when creating an online identity for your shopping centre:

1. What is the general tendency of your tenant mix? (fashion, home good, restaurants, etc.)

2. Where are you located? (city center, remote, close to recreational spaces, etc.)

3. What type of visitors do you have? (families, singles, young people, seniors, etc.)

4. What type of experience are you aiming for your visitors to have? (shopping focused, entertainment focused, etc.)

Customizing you online communication to fit with your shopping centre identity ensures that said content caters to your shopping centre, your tenants and most importantly your visitors.

After all, customers are looking for tailored and personal digital experiences, not generic ones! 👩 🛍️ 👨

At Emplate, we’re always busy expanding and developing in order to provide our customers with even better experiences.
Because of this, we’ve been in a need of adding a new full-stack developer to supplement our team.

As we’re fond of out of the box thinking, we’ve tried to come up with the right solution to this and Earth Hour Day last week was when it struck us: Why not make use of what we already have?

While we don’t have any extra full-stack developers hiding in the kitchen cupboards (we’ve checked) what do we have here at the Aarhus office is plants! 🌱

We are very excited for the launch of Helsingør Bycenter’s new consumer app today and can’t wait to take part in their digital journey!

Helsingør has great historical significance as it is where Kronborg (The home of Hamlet) is located and Holger Danske (Ogier the Dane) sits tight to welcome you. The history of the castle dates back to 1420 and was a lucrative deal for the King as it was the entrance to Oresund. This meant that the Danish king could make ships pay duties and that he had a powerful position, nautically. Now, Helsingør Bycenter is ready to conquer digitally! 🚀

We aim to improve the customer experience for visitors in shopping malls all around the world. We have developed a B2B SaaS platform called The Mall Engagement Platform that helps shopping malls achieve their full digital potential. - About the role -

We are already filling our pipeline with hot leads for the sales team to handle, but we have so many untapped potentials for you to develop and explore.

You will manage and monitor all marketing activities; Lead- and demand generation is the name of the game, and you’ll be responsible for optimizing the marketing funnel to supply our sales department with better and cheaper sales-qualified leads.

You will be working as part of the Marketing & Communications team, currently consisting of two - a communicator and a content creator - but you will have the direct responsibility for marketing. You will also work closely with sales and our external ads agency.

While we have plenty of untapped potentials, you’re not expected to solve all challenges during your first month. Instead, you’ll set up the processes, tools and structures you need to succeed in the long run and will bring your knowledge to the table when determining the winning marketing strategy aligning with sales and strategic communication.

Our tech stack is modern (Webflow, Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign, Elev.io, Sleeknote…) and we are already producing high quality content and distributing via paid ads on the most relevant platforms like Linkedin, Google, Facebook and industry relevant magazine in collab with our external marketing partner, who is responsible for ongoing purchasing of paid ads.

You’ll set up the tracking you need to measure and report performance of all digital marketing activities against agreed KPIs. We aim to evaluate marketing performance as close to revenue as possible, and don’t care about vanity metrics.

Most importantly, you’re smarter and better at peak-performing marketing than anyone on our team, and we expect you to use your knowledge and experience to challenge existing strategies, activities and beliefs and make the necessary changes to conquer the european market.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

- Demand generation and awareness marketing

- Lead generation and nuture

- Manage, monitor and optimize paid marketing in collaboration with our external agency

- Explore and evaluate new marketing activities such as events, partnerships, webinars, podcasts or something entirely different.

- Own the tech stack, determine KPI’s and set up the necessary processes for efficient and scalable marketing operations.

- About you -

You have experience with digital marketing activities and strategies and are on top of marketing trends and tools.

You are strategic but love to get your hands dirty. You will be executing on the strategy we develop together.

Data-driven decision making is not utopian to you. You know what data is important and how to measure it.

You have the technical skills to execute on your strategy. Maybe you already know how to build no-code landing pages for campaigns, build automations for lead nurture or set up the tracking you need - or you are tech-savvy and can quickly acquire new skills.

The position comes with a lot of responsibility and we trust you to do your job thoroughly and complete tasks and projects independently or through project management and delegation. You follow through and make changes accordingly.

You enjoy testing and experimenting and don’t mind failing in the process of finding new ways to improve
