In this case study, Jack Bolt and his team deploys the CANedge1 on all their restomodded electric vehicles to both enhance their diagnostic capabilities - and better understand customer usage.

It's a great example of how the free & open source GUI tool can be used to perform quick analysis of the recorded CAN bus data from the CANedge1 SD card - with minimal effort. It's also a good show case of the agnostic nature of the CANedge and how data can be easily converted to any format, as Jack explains below:

Learn how Kverneland uses the CANedge2 for ISOBUS telematics!

In this case study, Bart van der Vlugt from Kverneland Group uses the CANedge2 to collect data from their R&D test fleet of tractor implements (e.g. sprayers) during in-field usage.

The devices record 2 x CAN (J1939, ISOBUS) and upload the data via 4G routers to the team's server using an gateway. Here, the data is available for analysis and scripted processing.

For example, the team uses our dashboard script integrations to write DBC decoded data to an database for visualization in dashboards.

Do you need to decode data from your tractor/implement ISOBUS? If so, this DBC file is a great time saver!

The DBC file contains ~100 ISOBUS PGNs and 650+ SPNs, based off the public ISOBUS decoding rules (primarily from ISO 11783-7).

This makes it useful in processing raw ISOBUS data from tractors and implements (sprayers, seeders, ...) that you've recorded using e.g. the CANedge.

The ISOBUS DBC can of course be combined with our J1939 DBC and NMEA 2000 DBC - all of which will be relevant in most agriculture vehicle applications.
