Yesterday our team gathered for some socializing and fun night with running.

And we did great! 🏃‍♀️🏃🏻

It was perfect to get in motion after a long day of work and get together with colleagues.

Some of us still feel heaviness in the legs today, however, we feel ready for fall and what the new season in and will bring us! 💪

Say Goddag to Andy Prangsgaard & Emil René Kristiansen

If you recently received a call asking what your company does with their retired IT equipment, you have talked to one of these guys.

Even though Andy & Emil joined not so long ago, they have already brought a new level of 💥ENERGY💥 to the office. The same can be said about our sales team.

Their job at GlobeCom is to help Scandinavian customers dispose of their retired IT assets in an economically beneficial and sustainable manner 🌍

So they are making many calls to potential customers and introducing them to our SmartSelling concept. This concept can be hard to refuse when a pile of retired hardware is stacking up untouched somewhere in the darkest corner.

Andy’s sales pitch has been mastered to perfection and can truly impress a bystander 💼 Having 12 years of experience in sales indeed shows when Andy makes his phone calls. Now he can pass on his skills to our junior team members.

Whereas Emil, junior account manager, has shown to be a quick learner and has already become a valued member of 💪

We are glad to welcome Andy & Emil to our team and looking forward to seeing where their energy will take us all 🎉

48 palettes of... Christmas presents? Hidden gold? Perhaps both! 🤔

..48 palettes of refurbished IT hardware on their way to a new home!

Currently travelling in 2 (❗) x 40 ft containers

Equipment which very well would have been recycled, has now a prolonged lifespan. Just like GlobeCom intended 🌍

These 48 palettes are a great example of what Circular Technology is about- giving retired and yet functional equipment a second chance.

Our customer has not only helped the environment but also made significant savings on their IT budget- without compromising on the quality.

With the snowy landscape, it feels like Christmas time has arrived at the GlobeCom 🎄🎁❄

It has been a lovely evening for the team and a chance for our international colleagues to enjoy some classic Danish Christmas food and drinks. Despite the hesitation, even the most sceptical internationals admitted it was good to try the herring 🦈😉

Happy International e-waste day! 💚

GlobeCom is serving enterprise IT buffet at the warehouse 🥂

The goal of this year's - raise awareness about recycling small consumer electronics - “Recycle it all, no matter how small!” ♻️

According to Weee Forum, there are two challenges when it comes to recycling small electronics:

➡ Small electronics are often discarded incorrectly.

➡ They are stored in the house and completely forgotten about. Did you know that up to 5 kg of electronic devices is currently hoarded per person in an average European household?

However, most of the small enterprise IT electronics are hidden.

Therefore, just like in the picture below, our IT technicians sometimes choose to take server enclosures apart and then sell the components separately, therefore, increasing their chances of being reused.

Used memory dims, heat sinks, and CPUs are taken out of the enclosure, inspected, and sold separately.

Our partners recycle unsold and non-functional items responsibly- no matter how small ♻️

Meanwhile, enjoy our enterprise IT buffet and have a lovely international e-waste day!
