Do your members also prioritise wellness more than they did 2 years ago? 💪

A recent study from McKinsey & Company concludes that consumers’ prioritisation of wellness (which includes fitness, health, nutrition, appearance, sleep and mindfulness) has increased from 42% in 2020 to 50% in 2022 - corresponding to a 19% increase 📈

That in itself is great news. However, when you combine it with another finding from the study, you get something that can turn out to be mindblowing insider knowledge to exploit 🤯

The study also found that consumers didn’t find the selection of wellness offers and services adequate.

And this is where your opportunity arises 💡

Consumers are eager to find solutions that work - and preferably across multiple wellness areas. So, look into your services and offerings, and try to come up with something that could be useful for your members 🙋‍♂️

In the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, a study shows that being physically active in the morning is associated with the lowest risk of heart disease and stroke 💔

Gali Albalak, Study Author, Leiden University Medical Centre, the Netherlands, comments the following:

“It is well established that exercise is good for heart health, and our study now indicates that morning activity seems to be most beneficial. The findings were particularly pronounced in women, and applied to both early birds and night owls."
