IMEFY manufactures dielectric liquid immersed transformers, cast resin transformers, and power transformers with power ratings up to 160 MVA. With nearly 50 years of experience, over 200,000 transformers sold, and more than 200 customers worldwide, IMEFY is a trusted name in the industry.

Since 2016, the company has relied on Asprova APS to plan and schedule the production of oil and resin distribution transformers at its Toledo, Spain facility. Asprova schedules all processes along the value-added chain—from magnetic sheet metal cutting and core assembly to low and high voltage winding, final assembly, encapsulation, and final testing.

With Asprova APS, IMEFY benefits from better material management and coordination with purchasing, preventing material shortages. Asprova continuously cross-checks raw material availability against production plans and schedules, alerts purchasing to adjust orders in advance, and reschedules production automatically.

Running for a Cause: 25 Editions of a Wetzlar Tradition, With Three Asprova Teams Joining the 2026 Brückenlauf

Last Friday, our three relay teams took on the Brückenlauf, putting in lap after lap on the 2 km course through Wetzlar’s picturesque old town. Sunshine, a great atmosphere, favorite colleagues, and a shared finish over a proper post-run dinner at a local favorite afterwards made for a pretty perfect mix of movement, team spirit, and togetherness.

Even better: this year’s entry fees support Sportkreis Lahn-Dill e. V. and its “Sport- und Bewegungsräume” project, helping local clubs create freely accessible spaces and opportunities for sport and movement.

Not a bad way to spend a Friday evening. Thank you, Wetzlar. Thank you, Team Asprova.

Production lead time is not just one KPI among many. It is the result of almost everything that happens in a factory.

Productivity. Quality management. Maintenance. Multi-skilled employees. Setup-time reduction. Bottleneck management. Standardized work. Production lot sizes. Process synchronization. Accurate production sequencing. All these factors affect production lead time. And production lead time reflects how well all these factors work together.
