With the Android App Release 3.0.x, we’ve reached an important milestone:� our app is now running on a fundamentally renewed technological foundation. 🚀
This wasn’t a typical feature release – it’s the result of a multi-year transformation aimed at improving stability, performance, and long-term scalability.
We migrated the entire UI to Jetpack Compose, simplified the app architecture, and introduced a new navigation concept aligned across platforms.
At the core: a new App URL Resolver, built with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile.� It moves routing logic directly into the app – reducing server dependency and improving speed.
At the same time, we increased test coverage, started modularizing the codebase, and created a foundation that is easier to maintain and evolve.
This release sets the stage for what’s next – including bringing the new resolver to iOS soon.

Top notifications have long been considered best practice in UI design.��In practice, however, problems keep cropping up especially when you consider user experience, accessibility, and technical maintainability together.��In this article, we explain why we decided to phase out this pattern.�Our approach: Feedback belongs directly where the interaction takes place directly within the context, rather than globally at the top of the screen.��We’ll show in detail why this not only improves the UX but also strengthens accessibility and architecture in the long term.��
