KLOTZ CAT7 / 110 Ohm Hybrid Cables: HC71PC25 & HD01PC25

Hybrid cables that combine multiple individual lines into a single cable are increasingly used in modern applications. Our latest models, the HC71PC25 (CAT7 + power) and HD01PC25 (110 Ohm + power), are ideal for both mobile setups and permanent installations.

The flexible CAT7 line of the KLOTZ HC71PC25 enables the connection of modern, computer-controlled devices and systems in demanding live environments. It supports digital audio networks such as Dante™, CobraNet®, and EtherSound®, as well as DMX control signals based on ArtNet®, MA-Net, or Pathport. For IT applications, it also provides a reliable solution for network connections combined with power via three fine-stranded 2.5 mm² copper conductors. With dual shielding (Al foil + dense copper braid), high data rates up to 10 Gbit can be transmitted over long distances even in electromagnetically challenging environments.

The HD01PC25 was specially developed for audio and DMX applications. Its 110 Ohm, double-shielded signal line reliably transmits both analog audio and digital AES/EBU or DMX signals. Thanks to effective shielding and a conductor cross-section of 2 × 0.22 mm², transmission remains stable even over long distances in electromagnetically noisy environments. A drain wire simplifies assembly with XLR or TRS connectors, and the cable also includes a durable power line of three 2.5 mm² fine-stranded copper conductors.

Both cables feature a highly flexible Soft-PVC outer jacket and, thanks to their robust construction and effective shielding, are perfectly suited for use in demanding live conditions.

With more than 30 years of experience in the music business, BK! is widely recognized as one of Korea’s most respected mastering engineers. His work follows a modern mastering philosophy centered on transparency, dynamics, and tonal balance - delivering clarity, control, and impact while always preserving the artist’s original musical vision.

BK!’s musical journey began in Tokyo, where he studied jazz at the Shobi College of Music Conservatoire. In the 1990s, he released his debut album Guardian Angel and gained international attention after winning a nationwide music competition on J-WAVE FM, initiated by Ryuichi Sakamoto. Throughout the 2000s, he remained active as an electronic artist before dedicating himself fully to mastering in 2010.

Since then, BK! has worked across genres and with artists, producers, and labels worldwide, shaping the sound of more than 5,000 releases. His masters translate flawlessly across all playback systems—from club PAs and broadcast environments to streaming platforms and physical formats.
