- It was a varied year, but also an exhausting one. We were confronted by many obstacles. We circled round some of them, crept underneath others, were able to jump over them or simply circumvented them. However, there was one thing that we did not do – we did not just stand still in the face of them and retreat. It is true that this caused a few scratches and sprained ankles, but we also focused on what is possible. And that is motivating us to move ahead - GETTforward

“The children greatly enjoyed making the carnival face shields, zealously cutting and gluing to slip into the role of the knight or damsel as quickly as possible.
The face shield fits any head size thanks to its adjustable elastic band and stays on even during boisterous play.
We use the shields in free play time every day and so approach the topic of “the in everyday life” in a child-oriented manner. Especially at the beginning cold season, the face shields protect us from infection. Face shields also have the advantage that they do not come into close contact with the skin like other masks and so allow it to breathe. I have personally experienced little or no rash on my face. Furthermore, in everyday life, they can be quickly and easily cleaned with a disinfectant wipe and immediately used again. I am very happy about this possibility and I can highly recommend the use of GETT- in the daily kindergarten routine.”
