Celebrating 30 Years of QA Systems

Last month, our international team came together in Germany to celebrate three decades of QA Systems, from our headquarters to Heidelberg, the Hockenheimring and Stuttgart’s Cannstatter Wasen.

It was a chance to look back, but also to appreciate the people who have shaped the company along the way: our team, customers, partners and distributors around the world.

QA Systems has joined AI4SDV, a three year European project on AI-assisted engineering for software-defined vehicles.

The project kicked off in Graz last week, hosted by AVL, with around 45 partners from industry and research. Adam Mackay, our Head of AI, represented QA Systems.

Our contribution is an agentic verification and validation co-pilot, working in two of the project's use cases. It is designed so that each AI-assisted step can be explained, audited and reviewed by an engineer. We plan to connect it with Cantata®, our unit and integration testing tool for C and C++, so that AI-generated tests can be cross-validated against a tool that is already used on safety-critical projects.

As AI writes more of the software, the evidence that it works has to keep up. That is the problem we are working on, and we are looking forward to doing it with this consortium.

When we shared the story of White Angel for FLY & HELP ahead of this year's 24 Hours Nürburgring, we spoke about endurance, teamwork and reliability.
But the race was never the final destination.

Recent visits to Togo have shown the real impact of the initiative, with the opening of new schools and the foundation laid for another. Seeing entire communities come together to celebrate these milestones is a powerful reminder that education creates opportunities that can last for generations.

What a weekend at the 54th 24h Nürburgring!
Congratulations to the entire White Angel for FLY & HELP team on an outstanding result:
🏁 41st place overall out of 165 starters
🏁 3rd place in the Porsche Cup2 ProAm class

But the result goes far beyond the numbers.
Through donations generated by this volunteer-driven initiative, four additional schools can now be realised through FLY & HELP, a remarkable achievement and a reminder that endurance is not only about performance but also about purpose.
The car ran faultlessly, the drivers delivered consistently, and the pit crew executed every stop with precision. A huge congratulations and thank you to everyone involved in making this possible.
