Cue Pro 26's new Rhythmo Bande overlay introduced anchors: precise sync points placed anywhere within a line. They also take the classic Line Based overlay a step further, cueing the performer on any word, not just at the start of the line.

Place an anchor on a word and Cue Pro adds a Secondary Pre Roll Streamer that ends exactly on it. It works for a second line within the same ADR Cue or a pause in the middle of a line, with no more splitting lines into separate cues or adding streamers by hand.

Cue Pro 26.9.2 and Video Sync 6.2.11 are out!

The star of this release: the new PDF Template Designer in Cue Pro. Design your own cue sheets on a page canvas, drag in the fields you need, arrange rows and columns, style every cell, and export exactly the sheet your actors, director or engineer want. Ready-made templates for all three roles are included.

Also new in both apps: timecode tracks in movie exports (Pro Tools, Resolve and Frame.io pick up the right start TC), smoother playback and timeline zooming, refined selection and trimming shortcuts, Event List improvements and a big round of fixes.

Cue Pro 26 has a new ADR cue overlay mode: Rhythmo Bande.

Instead of holding a line in a fixed position, the dialogue text scrolls across the
screen. Each word crosses a Sync Marker at the exact moment it should be spoken, so
talent read in real time and the scroll's pace sets the rhythm for a naturally
synced take.

Our new video covers the basics: switching from Line Based, placing and fine-tuning
anchors, and the two settings that control how the text scrolls.

Cue Pro 26 merged Cue Pro and ADR Master into one application, and nothing was lost on the way. What changed is that you now choose how you work: Integrated Mode puts Cue Pro inside Pro Tools off a single plug-in, while Media Mode runs on Cue Pro's own engine with multiple independent video outputs and syncs to any DAW, or to none at all.

Video Sync 6.2.4 and Cue Pro 26.7.1 are out now!

New in Cue Pro:

NDI output for Pro Tools Integrated Mode: stream the Pro Tools picture, including all overlays, as an NDI source. Choose Stream-Ready mode locked to the Pro Tools playhead or Pass-Through mode for downstream processing, with adjustable delay compensation for receivers that add latency.

Multi-track recording: record to up to four record tracks in one pass, each with its own track naming scheme. Overlapping ADR Cues are distributed across the record track slots automatically.

Video Sync gets crash fixes and stability improvements, including significantly leaner video playback.

Video Sync 6.2 is out now.

Because Video Sync and Cue Pro share a codebase, several features we built for last month's Cue Pro 26 release now carry over to Video Sync: a Scene Track and Shot Change Track (Video Sync 6 Pro), Overlay Presets you can take to any studio, and automatic project file backups. We also sped up Windows exports and squashed a good number of crashes along the way.

Best part: it's a free update for all Video Sync 6 perpetual owners and subscribers.
