Accelerating the Clean Energy Transition
This year’s International Day of Clean Energy reminds us that the transition to renewable energy is a shared responsibility — and one of the powerful opportunities to protect our planet and shape a more sustainable future.
As an IT company, we work with data center and cloud providers that focus on energy-efficient infrastructure and the use of renewable electricity where available - avoiding approx. 300 tons of CO₂ per year.
We are also accelerating the transition to clean energy within our own operations. At our headquarter in Raunheim, around 12% of our annual electricity demand is generated by on-site rooftop solar panels, directly contributing to the use of renewable energy sources.
We are also developing a Personal Emission Dashboard, a digital tool that makes workplace emissions visible and empowers employees to make cleaner energy choices. We also embed sustainability into our daily work life through Corporate Digital Responsibility initiatives and Sustainable Office Principles, reinforcing responsible energy use across the organization.
We are convinced that our power lies in the choices we make today, and while real transformation takes time, it begins with consistent and responsible actions—using digital solutions to reduce emissions and promote renewable energy for a more sustainable future.
