Basiccolor

Karl Koch, located in Penzberg in the Bavarian alpine upland, is a software manufacturer dedicated to colormanagement and nothing but. Back in 1993 we were the first ones to offer a complete ICC-based color managemnet system in Europe, the renouned ColorBlind from Color Solutions. Since 2000 we develop our own color management solutions under the brand name basICColor®. And true to our motto „…because it simply works!“, all our products are user-centric, easy to use but of highest quality. Since 2018 we concentrate on 3 product lines:
• basICColor display – monitor (hardware-)calibration and profiling, QC for monitors and viewing light.
• basICColor input – camera profiling, DCP, ICC and C1 profiles for any digital camera or scanner
• basICColor cockpit – image soft proof and conversion for any kind of images, be it grayscale, RGB, CMYK, MultiColor, raw and even spectral images

Since color isn´t trivial anyhow, we accompany our customers with consultancy and „training on the job“ when they implement or optimize color managed workflows in their company.
