Take a closer look.

The answer is B. It was transmitted in 4K60 over just 1 Gbit/s using JPEG XS.

Image A illustrates what can happen when high-resolution video is heavily compressed: details become blurred, colors lose their clarity and compression artifacts become visible.

Image B represents transmission with Draco XStreme. Using JPEG XS, Single Head 4K60 signals can be transmitted over just 1 Gbit/s with visually lossless image quality and ultra-low latency.

Especially in broadcast environments and control rooms, every detail and every reaction matters. At the same time, lower bandwidth requirements simplify network design and help reduce infrastructure, energy and operating costs.

The difference is clear – even when the bandwidth stays low.

Connecting across Asia 🌏

Our CEO Dr. Thomas Niessen and our Head of Sales Frank Nölken are currently travelling through Asia to meet our local teams, customers and partners in person.

Their first stop is our IHSE office in Singapore, where they are exchanging ideas with colleagues and discussing current projects, regional developments and future opportunities.

From Singapore, their journey will continue to China for further meetings and conversations with our team, customers and partners there.

We wish and Frank a successful trip and look forward to the insights they will bring back with them.

100 days with our CEO Dr. Thomas Niessen! 🎉

The first 100 days in a new role are always special. They’re filled with new faces, new ideas, first impressions and plenty of moments that shape what comes next.

For us at IHSE, these past months have also been about getting to know each other, exchanging perspectives and starting a new chapter together.

Rain. Running. Team Spirit. 🌧️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Yesterday, our team joined the wenglor Firmenlauf – a local company run that brings businesses together for an evening of sport, fun, and teamwork.

We have to admit: standing at the starting line, there were definitely a few nervous faces. But as soon as the race got underway, the excitement took over. Crossing the finish line together left us feeling proud, energized, and already looking forward to the next one.

A big shout-out to our colleagues! Events like these remind us that the best results come from supporting each other, both at work and beyond.
