🤔 Does the GPS work underwater?

Not quite! Once submerged, the GPS signal is lost because satellite signals bounce off the water's surface. The iX3M2’s GPS navigation works best when you're out of the water, guiding you to your destination.

📍 So, how does it work?

When the GPS signal is available, the iX3M2 displays your current location and target, guiding you with a compass.
If the GPS signal is lost underwater, the iX3M2 relies only on the compass sensor, although direction accuracy may decrease over time.
As soon as the GPS reconnects, precise navigation resumes!
The iX3M2 is designed to be your top choice for navigating out of the water or during planned resurfacings, ensuring you stay on course even when faced with drift and currents.
