More efficiency behind the scenes at Core-Backbone GmbH ⚙️

After months of detailed planning, extensive preparation and coordination, the installation of a completely new and comprehensive air conditioning system at our Nuremberg data center has now been successfully completed. 🙌

While it may not be the most visible part of our infrastructure, reliable cooling is essential for stable data center operations. ❄️ The new system improves efficiency, keeps temperatures consistently stable, and further enhances the reliability of our operations.

Benjamin, Head of Development and project lead explains: “By appropriately dimensioning the system, the impact of a device failure in the data center is reduced to almost zero.”
Installing the new system while keeping the data center fully operational was a challenge: “Throughout the project, our priority was to keep disruptions to our customers, both in terms of accessibility and cooling, to a minimum.”

The new air conditioning system provides:
✅ More efficient cooling
✅ Modern pressure control
✅ Greater stability
All working quietly behind the scenes.
