Is it just us or is September one of the busiest event months of your year, too?

Either way, we loved every interaction with the awesome people in our ecosystem. Here are some glimpses into our September shenanigans.

1. We welcomed around 50 family offices from across Germany 🚀
2. Munich takeover: Nic & Sebastian were at the IAA event and later at the Audi Startup Night.
3. Judit was giving an Ideation Workshop for international PhDs at the panOPTIKUM (And yes, there’s a duck to spot. 🦆👀)
4. Forget coffee - the real meeting boost is a dog in the room.
5. This month’s Know-How Event: diving into Circular Economy with Angelique Thummerer (TURNS). ♻️
6. A day of Partner Workshop: reflecting & shaping what’s next together. 🤝

Yesterday’s Summer Pitch was something truly special! 🤩

Our Batch #9 startup teams kicked things off by pitching their innovative visions to an audience of engaged ecosystem members.

Then our CEO Benni took over the stage to reflect on the past year and the journey of becoming ZOHO FACTORY. But before we get back to work, we couldn’t let a full house go to waste.

This milestone called for a proper celebration! 🎉

Let’s just say there was plenty of confetti and cake involved…

ZOLLHOF secures €30M in funding to become one of Germany’s new Startup Factories🤩

It’s official: ZOLLHOF is now a Startup Factory!

After months of planning, fundraising, and a few sleepless nights, our collective effort has paid off. ZOLLHOF has been selected as one of only 10 EXIST Startup Factories nationwide, unlocking €20 million from private investors and up to €10 million in public funding.

We are also happy to announce that FlixBus founder [Daniel Krauss](https://www.instagram.com/daniel_m_krauss/) has become a new shareholder of ZOLLHOF, and that US venture capitalist Albert Wenger has become an official advisor and donor to the ZOHO Factory.

This milestone belongs to everyone who believed in this vision. Together, we’re setting out to turn our region into a true startup epicenter for bold thinkers and resilient builders.

A huge thank you to Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Katherina Reiche for championing startups and hosting today’s inspiring ceremony, and congratulations to all the other new startup factories - it’s an honor to stand alongside you.👏
