🌍News from Germany 🌍Das Bundesministerium für Verkehr stellt 1 Milliarde Euro für den Ausbau von Ladeinfrastruktur für batterieelektrische Nutzfahrzeuge bereit. Gefördert werden sowohl öffentliche als auch nicht-öffentliche Ladepunkte. Ein wichtiger Schritt für die Elektrifizierung von Flotten!

Gerade im Straßengüterverkehr und in Unternehmensdepots müssen Ladeprozesse zuverlässig in bestehende Abläufe integriert werden und oft in kurzer Zeit erfolgen. Ohne leistungsstarke Schnellladeinfrastruktur ist das kaum umsetzbar. Allerdings reicht in vielen Fällen die vorhandene Netzleistung dafür nicht aus.

Unsere Lösung: Mit batteriegepufferten Ladesystemen oder auch unseren Großspeichern ermöglichen wir Ultraschnellladen auch bei begrenzter Netzkapazität – ohne aufwendigen Netzausbau. Nutzen Sie die aktuellen Fördermöglichkeiten und lassen Sie sich von unseren Experten beraten. Die Mittel sind begrenzt, ein früher Antrag erhöht die Chancen auf eine Zusage.

As the number of electric vehicles continues to grow, everyday operations at fuel stations are changing as well. To meet rising demand, fuel stations need reliable ultra-fast charging solutions that can deliver high power. At many locations, one key challenge remains: existing grid connections are often not sufficient to support high-power fast charging in an economically viable way. This is where battery-buffered solutions come into play. They enable high charging performance even with limited grid capacity and allow fuel stations to electrify existing sites more quickly and economically.

At Uniti Expo 2026 in Stuttgart, we will be showcasing how ultra-fast charging with up to 300 kW can be realized with our ChargePost – combining integrated battery storage with digital advertising displays that open up additional revenue potential. Delivering More Charging Power Than the Grid Connection Allows 🔋⚡A microgrid implemented by energielösung GmbH demonstrates the potential of battery-buffered charging infrastructure: solutions such as the ChargePost decouple charging capacity from available grid power — enabling significantly higher charging performance than the grid connection alone would allow.

As part of a master’s thesis, the fast-charging site equipped with two conventional hyperchargers and one ChargePost from ADS-TEC Energy was analyzed over several weeks. Despite a grid connection of just 125 kW, the system reliably delivered substantially higher charging power while supporting the two other conventional DC chargers and compensating for peak loads through its integrated battery.

The economic results were equally compelling: by combining peak shaving with strategic energy procurement, operating costs can be reduced by several thousand euros per year in the analyzed scenario.

The Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Nicola Beer, met with Thomas Speidel, CEO of ADS-TEC Energy, at the HANNOVER MESSE. She was positively surprised by the company’s in-house developments in battery storage for flexibility (e.g. the battery-buffered fast charger “ChargePost”), as well as by the long-standing experience and deep expertise of this traditional Baden-Württemberg-based company. With large-scale storage systems that have been in operation for over 10 years and more than 2,500 battery-powered charging points worldwide, ADS-TEC Energy is clearly positioned as a market leader.

As representative of the EIB, Nicola Beer was particularly impressed by the company’s 360-degree capabilities across hardware, software, services, and operations. Strong proof point: one of the largest battery power plants, with a capacity of 1 GW / 4 GWh (roughly equivalent to the output of a nuclear power plant), which ADS-TEC Energy is currently advancing together with local and European partners — to strengthen the resilience of our energy system. A strong signal from for Germany and Europe.
