We have another reason to celebrate! Our Vimperk plant has received the BBA Silver Award in the category of companies with more than 150 employees. The award was accepted by our Managing Director, Ingo Herzog, at a gala ceremony in Waldkirchen, Germany.

What is the BBA Award all about?
For 25 years, the Best Business Association has been recognizing companies that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to responsible and sustainable business practices. This prestigious regional award evaluates companies across three key dimensions - economic, environmental and social.
It recognizes businesses that successfully combine economic performance with responsibility towards their employees, environmental protection and long-term sustainable development.

What impressed the expert jury?

We’re excited to share that our FSWX signal and spectrum analyzer is the winner of the Instrumentation & Electronics Awards in the category Aerospace, Military & Defence Product of the Year

At last week’s award ceremony at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London, Engin Kodal, Product Manager for Spectrum Analyzers and Signal Generators at Rohde & Schwarz UK, accepted the award on behalf of Rohde & Schwarz Aerospace and Defense.

The FSWX is redefining what’s possible in signal and spectrum analysis. With its groundbreaking architecture, it enables entirely new measurement scenarios for demanding RF, radar and electronic warfare applications, helping engineers gain deeper insight into complex signals and detect signals far below previously measurable levels.

A great recognition of the innovation behind the FSWX and the teams who made it possible.

Closing out the outdoor season 🎾

Our company tennis club wrapped up the summer with its traditional mixed doubles tournament. Despite the Munich autumn weather, the mood stayed high - and after the final matches, the winners were celebrated over pizza and drinks. 🍕

With wins against BMW and MTU Aero Engines earlier this season, there was plenty to celebrate.

🧠 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗵𝗱𝗲 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝘄𝗮𝗿𝘇

Mental health is an important part of a healthy work environment. That’s why Rohde & Schwarz is hosting the R&S Mental Health Weeks throughout October.

As part of this initiative, our organizational psychologists offer a range of workshops and presentations. The sessions take place in person and are also streamed online, allowing employees at all our locations across Germany to participate. 🌱

The focus is on real challenges from everyday working life: How can we develop new perspectives in difficult situations? How can we maintain a healthy work-life balance? How can we better deal with performance pressure? And how can we recognize mental load early and protect our resources?

In addition, our employees have access to further resources on stress management, resilience and self-care.

October also provides a fitting occasion to raise awareness: Every year on October 10, World Mental Health Day reminds us that our psychological wellbeing deserves the same attention as our physical health. 🤝

This awareness should not be limited to just one day. Creating an environment where people can talk openly, find support and take care of themselves matters every day throughout the year.
