⚠️ Digitale Barrierefreiheit ist längst kein optionales Thema mehr.

Mit dem Aufbau der neuen Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für Barrierefreiheit (MLBF) wird das Thema nun auch auf regulatorischer Ebene sichtbarer: Ein Team aus 70 bis 100 Prüfern wird aktuell aufgebaut, parallel dazu werden automatisierte Prüfprozesse für Websites, Shops, Portale und Apps entwickelt. Diese erfolgen ohne Beschwerde, ohne Vorwarnung und auf Knopfdruck.

Was viele Unternehmer und andere Anbieter unterschätzen: Barrierefreiheit betrifft nicht nur Behörden. Fehlende ALT-Texte, problematische PDFs, schlechte Kontraste oder unzureichende Tastaturbedienung lassen sich heute bereits automatisiert erkennen.

Für uns beim Pluswerk ist Barrierefreiheit deshalb nicht nur eine Frage der Compliance, sondern auch der Usability, Sichtbarkeit und digitalen Teilhabe. 🙌

Back from CMS Summit 26 in Frankfurt!

+Pluswerk CEO Jens Krumm attended the two-day event at the Museum für Kommunikation Frankfurt this week, where digital leaders, content experts and CMS platform vendors discussed the future of content management, AI and digital experiences.

What stood out the most was the atmosphere: less vendor theatre and more honest exchange. This is exactly the kind of dialogue that our industry needs right now.

One theme connected many of the talks and discussions: the shift has already happened. AI is no longer changing how content and websites work, it already has.

Some particularly interesting ideas emerged from discussions around:

• AI visibility and conversational discoverability
• accessibility as a strategic advantage
• content architecture as the foundation for enterprise AI
• the growing importance of open-source ecosystems and collaboration

What events like this make clear: no platform is isolated from the current wave of change. In a world shifting almost daily, collaboration and shared knowledge are becoming a survival skill.

Back from THE CÄMP 2026 in Heidelberg 🚀

THE CÄMP brings the TYPO3 BarCamp spirit to Baden-Württemberg, offering open discussions and practical sessions for people in various roles, including developers, editors, marketers, and project managers.

Our CEO, Jens Krumm, spoke about the future of our business, asking: where is digital business heading in an era of AI, platform consolidation and growing complexity?

One key takeaway is that the 'middle ground' of projects is disappearing. Only highly complex platforms or highly standardised, AI-supported tasks remain.
