Turning regulatory requirements into practical solutions. 💡

A powerful open-source project from our +Pluswerk team raphael GmbH in Dortmund: Pascal Galle has developed a TYPO3 extension that allows the labelling of AI-generated and manipulated images to be integrated directly into the image file.

🎓 Similar challenges. Different universities. One place to exchange ideas.

From 15 to 16 September, the TYPO3 University Days will be held for the 11th year. For the first time, the event will be hosted by five Thuringian universities in Erfurt.

The T3UD brings together editors, developers, administrators, project managers, and other digital professionals from higher education institutions to share practical experience and discuss challenges such as accessibility, migration, GEO, and sustainable web platforms.

+Pluswerk will be on site, hosting our own session on Tuesday at 11:30 am: 'Not enough students? Demand isn’t the problem – it's your marketing process". We will discuss how universities can rethink their student recruitment and digital marketing processes.

We relaunched the website of one of Munich's most iconic summer events for the Olympiapark München, the „Sommernachtstraum“ (A Midsummer Night's Dream). 🎆

The challenge: Create an independent digital brand experience while remaining fully integrated into the existing platform architecture.

🏛️ Great digital platforms aren't created overnight. They evolve through long-term collaboration.

Last week, our team met with representatives from the University of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in Rostock for another on-site sprint. Together, we planned the next steps for upgrading the shared multi-site platform to TYPO3 v13, and we discussed our future plans.

This project has been growing continuously since 2015. Today, seven universities and research institutions share one scalable TYPO3 platform while maintaining their own identities.

With over 280 domains, 93,000 pages, 2,500 editors and more than 500,000 managed files, it is a prime example of how shared digital infrastructure can deliver efficiency, accessibility and long-term sustainability.

Thank you to everyone involved for the open discussions, valuable ideas and excellent collaboration. We’re already looking forward to the next sprint. 🙌

📸 Every great story starts with the people behind it.

Last Friday, our Munich headquarters became the first stop on a new photo and video tour of +Pluswerk. In collaboration with visual artist Jan-Christoph Elle from Künstlerkartell, we are creating a new visual identity that puts our people at the forefront.

Over the coming weeks, Jan-Christoph will visit all our locations to capture authentic moments from everyday working life, rather than using stock photos. The first shoot featured our CEO Jens Krumm, Partner Service Manager Georg Krumm, and Hermann Assmann, Communications Manager. Judging by the first results, we're excited about what's to come. 🙌

A strong brand is shaped not only by ideas and technology, but also by the people behind them. We can't wait to share more insights from across +Pluswerk soon.

Last weekend, the University of Vienna (Universität Wien) hosted open discussions, impromptu sessions, and candid conversations about the future of our industry and fresh ideas.

Topics ranged from TYPO3 v14 and AI-supported workflows to agency patterns, composable architectures and the future of open-source platforms. This demonstrates just how rapidly our ecosystem is evolving.
