Google had the most important Conference of the year from 17. To 19. Of May. Bytterfly is proud to have participate at the “I/O 2017 Extended Munich”. The live stream from California was a concentration of news and innovation that will change the everyday world. Starting from Google Lens, an app that with AI can recognise what is focused in the camera and make a fast research of what is that. This will also help us to write the long complicated WIFI password with the camera. One of the most important focus is Artificial Intelligence (AI) that make possible this app, and the Natural Languages like “Google Home”, a home device that makes what you say. It needs only a voice command, this is in Europe like the “Alexa” from Amazon. We will appreciate to see who will be better and with more options.
Google makes also something bigger, like the new Cloud system, focused on AI. They developed and build new CPUs that are called TPU that have 180 Teraflops each. To who doesn’t know what is that, it is very, very fast.
In mobile, it is coming Android O and interesting for Developer, the official Android language is from now Kotlin. This new OS for mobile seems that is faster and smaller than the previously. They announced also Android GO, for devices that have less than 1 GB ram, a lite android version that run fast on cheaper phones.
Youtube has also some new features, the most important is the “Superchat”, a chat for the live streams that give the possibility to the audience to donate money at the Youtuber.
The introduction was about two Hour and the Developer Keynote almost one hour, but the I/O had many workshops that was also with news and specials. The workshops is intresting for Developers more than to costumers. If you want to see they, they are in Youtube, posted from Google Developers.
