Hello everyone! 👋

I am excited to introduce myself and our newly founded company, BIOMInsights. My husband David Hofmann and I have recently established BIOMInsights together. While David Hofmann, as the company owner, is responsible for finances and works behind the scenes, I represent the company and am responsible for all core operations and client engagements.

My passion for bioinformatics emerged during my Master’s studies in Applied Chemistry with a focus on Biochemistry at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm. Inspired by my professor at the time, Ronald Ebbert, I delved into the bioinformatic analysis of microbiome data, particularly in the field of clinical research on premature infants. This sparked a deep interest in me, leading to years of dedicated study in statistics, programming, and data analysis, including involvement in various projects at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm.

Now, I look forward to sharing my expertise and to work together with you on exciting projects in the world of microbiome research. 🚀
