📚✨ Training the Next Generation of Textile Designers and Engineers
🇰🇷 STUDENTS IN KOREA LEARN ON EAT SOFTWARE 🇰🇷
Recently, Elin from our Korean representation had the opportunity to conduct a Jacquard design seminar at Hanyang Women's University using EAT DesignScope software with students.
The training focused on practical Jacquard fabric development processes used in the textile industry, covering important topics such as:
🧵 Understanding the Jacquard Weft System
🧵 Creating Yarns for Simulation
🧵 Applying Yarn Data to 3D Fabric Simulations
Today's textile industry requires not only creativity and design skills, but also strong digital competencies in CAD/CAM technologies and simulation tools.
The more you simulate, the less you have to actually weave before the bulk production process - which makes fabric simulation a real sustainability driver in the textile industry:
🚯 Less Waste
💸 Less Cost
⚡️ Less Energy
Through hands-on training with DesignScope, students were introduced to the technologies and workflows that are shaping the future of textile design and production.
We hope the students who participated in this seminar will thrive as the next generation of textile professionals, designers and engineers leading the industry forward. 🌟
EAT Korea will continue to collaborate with universities and educational institutions, helping to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world textile production.
If you are interested in applying EAT software in educational programmes such as vocational schools or universities 👨🏽🎓👩🏻🎓, please take a look into our “Representatives” section on our website (link in bio 🔗) or get in touch via DM ✉️ or in the comments 💬 here.
