Our Sheriff is playing Ponchorado. Rootin' Shootin' Cowboy Tootin'

📱 Mobile Gameplay pt14

Ponchorado is a satirical Survivors-like game in the style of 1930s cartoons, set in the ruins of an unfinished Western movie.
Players take on the role of Poncho, a forgotten stuntman who fights his way through chaos, clichés, and caricatures to finally be seen and maybe even win the BOSSCAR, the highest award from the fictional “Academy of Cinematic Constructs.”

But the prize is more than a symbol of fame: it represents visibility, recognition, and the right to tell your own story.

As Poncho, an unnamed supporting character, you fight your way through a fragmented film world full of weird gatekeepers, forgotten scenes, and unleashed characters, all searching for their place in a movie that was never finished.

Your goal:
Explore over 100 levels full of movie clichés, absurd enemies, and surprising situations. Ponchorado combines slow-paced roguelite gameplay with lovingly animated scenes, sarcastic humor, and detailed craftsmanship.

Finger-Control or controller: Ponchorado is an indie game that looks like a lost cartoon—and plays like a modern, accessible action survival trip.

Sometimes things happen exactly when you least expect them.
We’ve been nominated for the German Computer Game Award in the category “Best Mobile Game.” The news came last Tuesday, almost like a birthday gift for our company’s 21st anniversary on April 5th. It’s our first nomination and also our first submission.
It would be a lie to say we expected this. We didn’t. Of course, we submitted the game because we think it’s great, but without any big expectations. That makes it all the more exciting, and I’m feeling especially grateful right now.
