Progress is often driven by a conversation and a shared ambition to do things even better.

That’s exactly what happened when teams from AUTODOC and TecCom recently came together. Around the table were AUTODOC’s VP Corporate IT and Director Part Management Supply Chain, together with colleagues from TecCom’s Partner Management, Sales, and Product teams. A strong signal of joint commitment and a clear next step in our collaboration.

The foundation is already in place. AUTODOC is successfully connected with multiple suppliers via TecCom. Now, we are focused on unlocking even more potential by expanding reach and enabling more partners to fully benefit from the ecosystem.

Together, we are working to:
✔ make onboarding faster, clearer, and scalable
✔ support connected suppliers to generate and grow business
✔ leverage aftermarket standardization to increase efficiency across the network
✔ enable growth for digital B2B solutions, marketplace models, and new supplier profiles

This partnership is about making what already works even more effective. It is about turning strong infrastructure into greater reach, efficiency, and growth for AUTODOC and its ecosystem.

With AUTODOC, we are excited for what’s ahead 🤝

The right part, for the right vehicle, at the right moment.

Driving Parts Day, our joint event with TIPS 4Y, Automotive Intelligence in Lisbon on 25 March 2026, brought together distributors and data providers around one clear goal: get it right the first time.

Through practical sessions, demos, and roundtables, the day showed how better data, standardized processes, and validated repair know-how can help cut returns, optimize inventory, and improve workshop profitability. The discussions also included direct market feedback on workshop needs in Portugal. 🇵🇹

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Lisbon and shared valuable market insights, and to our partner Tips4Y for making this event possible.

On 2 April, we will be at Aftermarket Day 2026 at Parc des Princes in Paris 🇫🇷, a new business event bringing the industry together to rethink the aftermarket and discuss the future of after-sales.

Organized by Le Journal de la Rechange & de la Réparation, Le Journal du Pneumatique and Le Journal de l'Automobile, under the sponsorship of FEDA, the event will bring together industry experts to discuss the major shifts transforming the market: convergence across parts, tyres and paint, changing business models, alternative offerings, and the growing role of e-commerce and digital platforms.

From Catalogue, KType+, VRM, VIN2OE, VIO, OE Data and PMA to Verified Repairs and Service Book, we support the aftermarket with trusted vehicle, product, and repair information, helping data suppliers, distributors, and workshops work more accurately and efficiently.

We look forward to seeing you there!

“Data quality now carries the highest weighting in our supplier evaluation.”

That is not a statement from a data analyst. It comes from the Head of Product Management at hostettler autotechnik ag. In the independent aftermarket, data quality is no longer a technical detail. It directly impacts visibility, conversion and return rates.

When online sales dominate, incorrect or incomplete product data means:

• Parts are not found
• Wrong parts are ordered
• Returns increase
• Processes slow down

For hostettler, data quality in the TecDoc Catalogue is a key criterion in supplier evaluation. DQM and Premier Data Supplier status serve as practical indicators of reliability.

In our latest blog post, Christoph Althaus explains how structured data quality standards create measurable impact in daily retail business.

If you want to see how data quality translates into commercial performance in today’s digital aftermarket, take a look. Read the full article on our blog.

Behind every data-driven strategy are people who know how to connect insight with real-world needs. We’re excited to welcome Rosina Wu as Lead IM China. 🇨🇳 Here’s her perspective on joining us:

“My decision to join TecAlliance is driven by a shared belief in the power of data to solve foundational problems. What excites me most is the clear alignment between its forward-looking strategic vision and the urgent demands of our rapidly changing industry. As a new hire with diverse automotive experience, I’m instantly inspired by how this company centers data as the core of its innovation strategies and actionable roadmaps, and the inclusive culture amplifies all perspectives: my product development background was quickly recognized as a way to ground data models in real-world customer needs.

I’m also grateful for the collaborative, expert colleagues who blend their know-how with automotive insights, turning individual strengths into collective, meaningful progress. In the fast-shifting landscape of EVs and global aftermarket trade, this team doesn’t just react to change – they proactively anticipate and shape it! I’m eager to bring my expertise to this data-driven mission, and to learn from a team that’s redefining what’s possible in this dynamic market.”

All week, in honor of International Women’s Day, we have been sharing insights from colleagues across our organization.

For the last day, we asked two of our colleagues how they make sure the team feels supported along the way.

The “clear the path” approach from Pilar Poggio Duque:

“When things get complicated, I remind the team that we are in this together. Making mistakes or feeling overwhelmed is just a moment, not who we are. I simplify things by helping them find the right path so they can move forward, whether that means clarifying processes, connecting the right people, or stepping in myself when needed. And above all, I believe that kindness is something to protect, because doing great things together should never come at the expense of people.”

The “right info at the right time” approach from Christina Meier:

“Giving my team members the relevant information on time is very important. Like this the topics do not get stuck, everybody is on the same level of information and can progress. I try to use clear wording, not overpacked with information which might not be relevant. Using several communication channels, besides usual email, also Teams, phone calls or sometimes even an SMS for short messages makes it very flexible. With the right information in hand, the team can focus better and have also more time to rest.”

As we head into the weekend, what is one way you help your team stay grounded during these moments? 💜

As we continue our series for International Women’s Day, we are looking at the lessons that shape how we work. Today, Tobias Roth shares the personal philosophy he passes on to every new starter to help them feel confident:

“The best career advice I ever received — and now share with every new starter — is this: Never stand still. Keep moving, keep learning, and always look for ways to improve yourself and the way we work.

Believe in yourself and have the courage to try. Not everything will work out on the first attempt, but every step — especially the difficult ones — helps us grow.

And finally, be transparent and speak up early. Open communication, honest questions, and addressing challenges directly are what truly enable us to move forward together.”

Which part of this advice resonates most with you today? 💜
