It’s impressive to see the Oculus Rift CV1 still running so well on Windows 11, more than 10 years after its release.

The upcoming SteamVR version of my VR media player app, immerGallery, runs great on it. This headset has aged remarkably well.

immerGallery 1.4.2 "Photos and videos together in VR slideshows" is out!

This is one of our biggest updates so far, and it changes how media works inside immerGallery.

Until now, photos and videos were handled separately. With this update, they now live together in the same folder views across Local Gallery, SMB Gallery, and UPnP Gallery. This makes browsing more natural and enables mixed VR slideshows with both images and videos.

Whether you are creating a personal immersive gallery, presenting a travel collection, showing product visuals, or building a VR showcase, you can now combine the media that fits best -- without separating photos and videos first.

Multiplayer also takes another step forward: videos can now be watched together on multiple headsets.

Try the latest version of immerGallery 1.4.2, and if you enjoy it, please recommend it to friends, family, or anyone interested in immersive media and VR presentations.
