We are excited to officially announce that today the Mixed Reality Program at the National University Health System (NUHS) in Singapore was unveiled to the public.
NUHS is using our VSI HoloMedicine® platform to improve patient outcomes, augment the clinical experience for physicians, and educate the doctors-of-tomorrow.

“Holographic technology may radically transform the way we practice medicine. Early adoption will place NUHS at the forefront of medical MR research and position us as a pioneer in the clinical use of this technology,” said Associate Professor Ngiam Kee Yuan, NUHS’s Group Chief Technology Officer, who is overseeing the research and development of the holomedicine programme in NUHS.

Nothing is more rewarding than hearing patient success stories and we are humbled to share with you a story of how our technology was used to educate and comfort a pediatric patient prior to a complex heart surgery. Rosemaylee is a 13-year-old girl from Haiti who arrived in the United States with her family 3 years ago. When she recently visited The Heart Institute at Nicklaus Children’s Health System in Miami, Florida, she was diagnosed with a very rare and complex defect involving three separate structures in her heart requiring immediate surgical intervention. We are very happy to report that Rosemaylee is back home healthy, happy and on track for a full recovery!

We want to extend a special thank you to Dr. Burke, Dr. Hannan and Nicklaus Children’s Hospital for exemplifying tremendous medical innovation leadership and doing everything possible to improving the lives of your patients. Wednesday a film team with reporter Julia Wulf visited us in the office and conducted an interview with our CEO Sirko Pelzl about the "KI-Sigs" project.

KI-SIGS is focused on building an "AI Space for Intelligent Health Systems" in collaboration with northern German AI institutes together with medical technology companies like us and partners of university hospitals.
