Der Vibe im Team ist bei uns extrem wichtig - denn nur, wenn der Vibe stimmt, macht die Arbeit auch Spaß.
Genau deswegen haben wir unseren Bewerbungsprozess umgestellt um schon in der Findungsphase unserer neuen Teammitglieder festzustellen, ob wir auf der gleichen Wellenlänge sind.
Ein Treffen mit einem Großteil des Teams in der letzten Entscheidungsrunde bietet eine super Möglichkeit für uns und auch die Bewerber:innen festzustellen, ob es grundsätzlich passen könnte.
Da wir noch eine sehr familiäre Unternehmensgröße haben und auch sehr gerne mal zusammen etwas in der Freizeit unternehmen (selbstverständlich nicht verpflichtend 😉), ist es umso wichtiger nicht nur nach Lebenslauf einzustellen.
Hieraus entstehen dann wunderbar vielfältige, lustige und vor allem positive Erinnerungen bei unseren gemeinsamen Events - wo wir auch gerne mal direkt vor Antritt des neuen Jobs auch zukünftige Teammitglieder einladen.

Unser People & Culture Lead Linh war gestern auf der New Hiring Conference von und hat viele Insights für uns mitnehmen können. Die Konferenz fand in der schönsten Location Hamburgs statt – in der !
Die drei Key Learnings der Impulsvorträge von Prof. Dr. Heike Bruch, .onaran und  waren:

"Learn from those who've done it before" That's what junto is all about! With top-notch leaders as instructors from the startup environment like , , etc. and the great moderation by the junto hosts Kira and Marius our leads Zina, Ivone, Felix and Linh completed the six-week leadership bootcamp. Congrats! 🎉🍾

After the bootcamp, our leads sag down together and brainstormed ways to implement their learnings in their departments. There are three focus topics on the agenda: , as well as . Our upcoming zapliance summer trip in July is predestined for this. We will spend three days at with the entire team, where we will not only discuss their learnings, but also unwind. Over the last few weeks, we have presented our to you. Finally, we would like to present our last two values. In our eyes, and go hand in hand.
For us, New Work is neither a buzz word nor simply a tool, but an attitude - our culture! A culture in which people are at the core of everything we do. That's why it's important for us to create a working environment in which our team can work on their own initiative and according to their own needs. Both in the team and with the customer, is a particularly important value for us.
With our customers, this is especially evident in our transparency with regard to risks and bugs. When we identify any, we disclose them immediately, because it's perfectly normal that not everything always runs 100% super.
We prefer to communicate problems in a timely manner and find a suitable solution together. And our customers appreciate our open way of working.
But what we do for the customer, we must also reflect and live internally. Our employees are strong communicators and therefore even difficult issues are addressed directly. In possible conflict discussions, we speak openly but objectively with each other - transparency creates understanding.
Our management level is not exempt from this. Our CEO involves our employees as much as possible in important decision-making processes.
This provides a basis for appreciation and trust for the entire team and creates an open atmosphere in which everyone feels comfortable asking questions when things are unclear. The ability to proactively follow up and get an answer to unanswered questions creates a sense of security for the team.

What needs to happen to prevent Internal Audit from dying?

Our CEO, Alexander Rühle, has been dealing with this question since the beginning of his auditing career.
In their article "The Future of Internal Auditing: Gardener of Governance," Dr. Rainer Lenz and Kim K. Jeppesen addressed the impending loss of importance of Internal Auditing. This moved him a lot and triggered an "internal discussion". It became clear to him:
We have to act now!
But it is not enough just to activate the auditors' will to change. In his understanding, he has tried to formulate a new mission for Internal Auditing and would like to enter into discussion with you.

We want to create added value with our work. However, we can only achieve this if we are all experts in our field. To achieve this, continuous training is the solution for us.  
Alexander Rühle, our CEO, takes the approach of absorbing new impulses every day. It is important for all of us to open ourselves to the influences of our environment and to learn from them.

But that's not all, of course. At zapliance, the usual ways of advanced training are of course also encouraged. Whether it's conferences, trade fairs, books or online webinars, if we want to quench our thirst for knowledge, we are not only allowed to do so but also encouraged to do so. 

Our respective skillsets are our greatest strengths and that's why it's so important to keep building on them. If you don't like to be around people, you always have the opportunity to learn on your own. For this purpose, we have our library in the office, which is constantly growing. Book requests are always welcome here. 

We believe that passion for one's job also makes you want to learn more about your field and keep trying out new things. This generates new ideas, increases employee satisfaction and the quality of work, and all of this ultimately contributes to our success in what we do.

This week was all about our value - not only us as a team, but our schedules stayed true to it as well.   
It all kicked off with this year's Transform your Audit Summit where our CEO Alex got to answer the question "How Would You Transform Your Audit Team Into Data Leaders?" from his perspective. The diverse perspectives of the other speakers also provided a lot of  
  
Tuesday and Wednesday our team went to the together and besides valuable talks, conferences and masterclasses, of course the partying with Marteria, Rin, Kraftklub and Oli P. didn't come too short.
  
At the end of the week, the daily work routine returned and our team was able to process the impressions of the past week in individual ways. Whether in the home office or office, alone or in groups - reflection is just as individual as all other areas in life.  
  
But it was not only this week that we lived .  
Diversity starts with the individuals in our team. We are different - and that's exactly how it should be! We are colorful, energetic and humorous.  
  
At zapliance, there is no such thing as "the one right way to work" or "the one perfect employee." We are all respected and appreciated for our individuality!  
  
We are also particularly proud of the fact that over the years we have been able to attract more and more women to the software industry and even our female quota at the management level is 50%!    
  
We believe that it takes different experiences, perspectives and skills to create new ways of implementation. Diversity brings creativity and innovation!   
We also create a work environment that is free of prejudice and support our employees in embracing and living their individuality. For this reason, we find is an absolute must-have corporate value for us.  
  
However, we also know that we still have a lot to learn when it comes to diversity, and this is where we want to constantly develop and become even better. Baby steps are better than standing still! That's why we work every day to promote the topic of even more internally.
