We create products for spatial/3D/immersive audio/music production, distribution and reproduction. Surround, 3D) as well as with standard headphones.

New Audio Technology GmbH (NAT) was founded by Tom Ammermann in 2012. The company develops and distributes high performance audio products for industrial, professional and end user applications. These products make it possible to enjoy a 3-Dimensional experience when creating, editing and monitoring audio content e.g. for film, music and game applications with any kind of multi-channel speaker set

up (e.g. End users can experience mobile entertainment in a completely new and exciting way. The user does not have to worry about special equipment or format specifications; just a Smartphone is all that is needed to enjoy a Cinema film with this new 3D audio experience. NAT offers a very attractive package to customers in this market segment in terms of minimal requirements, affordability, battery use and technical simplicity.

New Audio Technology will present immersive and interactive broadcast applications based on the Spatial Audio Designer Processor, in collaboration with its partner, Lawo, at their booth (C4111). The workflow for creating and monitoring MPEG-H mixes with processor control directly from a Lawo mc² console will be demonstrated, and general considerations, including immersive binaural monitoring, will be discussed. The Dome’s Day, what an event! It was the first time that immersive audio for industry applications was addressed with such a focus. We’re proud to make this happen with the support of the Experimenta and its team, the Verband Deutscher Tonmeister and all the presenters. The Dome‘s Day is a conference about immersive audio for theatres, live, broadcast, installations, and fulldome applications. One day, full of presentations and insights about technical approaches, content creation, and distribution of immersive and interactive audio in these domains. It happens on the 22nd of September in the experimenta in Heilbronn. If you’re interested and work in these domains, it’s definitely your event! Tickets are limited;)
