This season Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen , every play gets its own visual element. For Eva schläft, it’s arches.
They echo the Südtirol Lauben, but also a train ride south: the landscape drifting by, an aqueduct along the way.
One motif, running through everything: posters, banners, flyers, ads, digital animations.

Reise ins Theater, out into the world and back into the theatre.

Rudolf Frey Big compliments to the whole team for a powerful production.

26 PAROLEN FÜR 2026, SEP:
19 — Women, Life, Freedom (Jin, Jiyan, Azadi) has its roots in the Kurdish women’s movement and became the central slogan of the nationwide protests in Iran triggered by the death of Mahsa Amini in September 2022.

20 — PACE. To protest the Iraq War in 2003, Italian houses flew the rainbow flag with a white PACE from balconies. This became a leading anti-war symbol across Europe.

4 days, 90 students, 1 room, 2 houses — in cooperation with SWG (Schweriner Wohnungsgesellschaft) the DESIGNSCHULE SCHWERIN hosted an internal competition which we facilitated in a workshop format. The assignment was to design a facade concept for two building in Schwerin’s Weststadt neighbourhood. The students worked in groups and presented their designs to a jury. The top five designs will advance to the second round, and hopefully one of them will soon be seen on the buildings.

Thanks for everyone who participated and special congrats to the winner team 🦋

This was fun!

Germany’s colonial past is still treated as peripheral. Memory in Motion – Sites of Learning and Remembrance of Colonialism in Germany documents a two-year process where an international network of experts tackled colonial amnesia.

This publication comes as two books—one in German, one in English—each 272 pages long.

The fractured layout, the shifting margins, the loaded empty spaces: they echo the book’s core question: How do we remember what’s been erased?

The book’s structure mirrors its theme through a four-part dramaturgy: it opens with an intact, orderly page layout that progressively deconstructs, challenging certainties and compelling the reader to face the fractures, all printed in deep blue on tinted paper. The two photo-sections shift to full-color CMYK on white paper, filled with workshop images and collaborative reports.
The final part inverts the movement: starting from the broken center, the page layout is meticulously reassembled, refined and sharpened, printed in monochrome on yellowed stock.
