Inspired by yesterday's webinar? Here's a great example of multimodal - research!

🧠 High-quality simultaneous EEG-fMRI recordings remain one of neurophysiological research's toughest challenges. This valuable new open dataset demonstrates the power of Carbon Wire Loop (CWL) regression and shows how effective suppression of motion- and scanner-related artifacts can improve multimodal EEG-fMRI signal quality.

🎯 The work is also an excellent demonstration of how Brain Products MR-compatible EEG equipment supports multimodal neuroimaging research, combining MR plus, BrainAmp ExG MR, MR, and technology.

🐱 It's here at Brain Products and tomorrow is - so we want to celebrate some unlikely neuro-research pioneers!✨

In the 1960s, scientist Barry Sterman recorded activity from cats while studying sleep and brain rhythms. His work revealed the importance of the sensorimotor rhythm (SMR), a calm but alert state, and led to the surprising discovery that this brain activity could be learned and regulated. Those findings became a cornerstone of early neurofeedback research and helped advance our understanding of how the brain regulates itself. Today, Sterman's contributions continue to influence neuroscience, neurofeedback, and sleep research.
