🐝 Good news from our beefuture beehives 🌸

As a partner of beefuture, we are delighted to share the latest spring update from the beehives we support: our bee colonies are doing very well.

Despite recent cold nights and even late snowfall, the bees have come through the winter in a stable condition and have clearly arrived in spring.
There is already a lot of activity inside the hives: the bees are actively foraging, and the queens have resumed intensive brood production.

This clearly shows that the new season is already well underway. Development is progressing as planned and makes us very confident for the weeks ahead. Just ahead of the Easter holidays, our bees are entering this important phase of the year strong and healthy.

At KYOCERA Europe GmbH, we believe in taking responsibility and fostering sustainable partnerships. Together with beefuture, we are making a tangible contribution to biodiversity and look forward to accompanying the continued development of our bee colonies.

KYOCERA Fineceramics Europe GmbH presents its conventionally and -printed components made of high-performance Space Tech Expo Europe trade fair taking place from November 18 to 20 in Bremen, Germany. The is especially on the materials Fine Cordierite and silicon-infiltrated silicon carbide (SiSiC) and on the company’s new approaches in the additive of ceramic components.

Fine Cordierite is characterised by an extremely low thermal expansion coefficient and remains dimensionally stable even under extreme temperature fluctuations. Yesterday our Managing Director Rafael Schröer delivered a guest lecture to 35 first‑year International Business students at DHBW Stuttgart:

“𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 - 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗞𝘆𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆.”

Despite the session being 𝗻𝗼𝗻‑𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 and held after a full study day (17:30–19:15), the students’ focus and participation were outstanding.

On 6 November, we held another litter collection event – and the results speak for themselves! We have been successfully implementing this initiative for several months now, collecting considerable amounts of waste every two weeks.
