We last introduced over as news. Today we want to look at OMS over , which was specified some time ago but is no less interesting. The joint specification of the OMS-Group e. V. and the LoRa Alliance enables standard via LoRaWAN. applications in the sector that already use OMS can thus benefit from the advantages of LoRaWAN. These include low energy consumption, long range, deep indoor pe*******on and firmware updates over the air (FUOTA).

In June, the Technical Report 08 „OMS over mioty“ was published by the OMS taskforce . This report specifies OMS over mioty, which is a method to use mioty as a transport mechanism in an OMS . It proposes an architecture for a combined to transport the higher layers of [EN 13757] over the lower layers of mioty.
