In his job, Erik Brisenheim, Technical Director at ebm-papst Sweden, always seeks out the best ways to save energy and costs for his customers and thus add to their sustainability efforts. ♻️

With our digital solutions, we help him in this mission – especially with our Base Functions like Condition Monitoring and our Digital Services like Demand-Controlled Ventilation. These are enabled by our gateway controller and sensors which play a crucial role when it comes to energy efficiency. 💡

“The data transmitted allows the ventilation system to be monitored remotely and controlled continuously and automatically. This makes it easy to provide ventilation exactly when it is actually needed, thereby saving a lot of energy”, says Erik Brisenheim. ✅

Smart ventilation for everyone – that is one of our most important goals. 🎯
Thus, we do not only develop solutions for industrial or commercial buildings, but also for residential properties where intelligent and efficient air management is crucial. And with a pioneering project in Sweden, we proved that we know our business in this sector, too. 🦾

Together with the local energy company Stockholm Exergi, we modernized the ventilation system in a residential building in Sweden’s capital with our gateways and sensors and EC rooftop fans from ebm-papst. 🤝

This solution enabled our Base Functions Condition Monitoring and Digital Service Demand-Controlled Ventilation which save lots of energy and costs for both the buildings operators and the residents. 💡

Our Digital Services take efficiency and operational reliability to the next level – and we can prove it. ✅

One of our success stories: The digital recooler at Kappler CNC in Birkenfeld. 📊

In cooperation with Heidinger, Cabero, Kappler CNC and ebm-papst, we created a digital twin of the fans in operation at the site to monitor its status, detect energy saving potential and make predictions for predictive maintenances. 🔧

To do this, we developed new sensors to measure vibrations on the dry cooler and to analyze the volume flow. The data from both measurements flows into our Intelligate gateways, from where it is uploaded to our epCloud. Here, the data is analyzed and used to create the digital twin of Kappler’s system – including information such as volume flow, temperature, vibration and current energy consumption - and many more. 🔎

The result: More effiency, reliability and energy savings. 💡
