Inspections need flexibility. With new inspection point types such as "Check" and "Remark," 2.6 enables more adaptable AR-based inspection workflows. Inspection points can now be used according to their specific purpose — from planned inspections to spontaneous observations and comments without a fixed spatial reference.

Ever wondered who works at Visometry? Gian Dion Dubberke has been part of the team for a couple of months. Here, he shares how he joined Visometry, what his responsibilities are, and what makes the team so special.

1) How long have you been working at Visometry, and how did you join the company?
I’ve been working at Visometry since February 2026. I first discovered the company in March 2025 while specifically searching for XR companies in Darmstadt. After that, I waited for a suitable position to become available. 😊

2) What are your responsibilities at Visometry?
As Customer Support Manager, my responsibilities include customer support, customer success, and the ongoing development of our documentation. Most importantly, I respond directly to customer inquiries, report bugs, and work with our team to find solutions to problems.

3) What do you find exciting or impressive about Visometry?
I find it impressive how strong our international presence is. Even people I met at trade shows from Asia and South Africa were already familiar with us. I also find it fascinating to see how AR, through such a practical application as Twyn, actively supports and improves the everyday work of so many people.

4) What makes our team special to you?
In my role, I naturally work with all departments. I really appreciate how closely and seamlessly we collaborate and how, despite the growing team, communication channels remain short and direct. Everyone is always willing to help and provides support beyond their own responsibilities in a wide range of areas.

5) What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I’m passionate about learning new things and love exploring topics that are unfamiliar to me. As a result, my hobbies are constantly changing - from 3D printing and scuba diving to DIY construction projects and learning foreign languages.

Quality inspections require more than just data. With 2.6, inspection points can now be enriched with relevant information directly anchored to the component itself.

Users can attach work instructions, welding specifications, inspection reports, images, CSV, Excel, and PDF files directly within the inspection workflow. This creates a centralized source of information that keeps requirements, documentation, and inspection data connected throughout the process.

Leandra Schneider has been part of the team for several years. Here, she shares how she joined Visometry, what her responsibilities are, and what makes the team so special. ☺️

1) How long have you been working at Visometry, and how did you join the company?
I have been working at Visometry for one year. Before joining the company, I worked in the innovation department of an automotive manufacturer, where I had many opportunities to engage with emerging technologies such as AI and Augmented Reality. I first came across Visometry through LinkedIn. What particularly attracted me was the opportunity to work in an environment where these technologies are already being used productively and where direct user feedback continuously contributes to the further development of the product.

2) What are your responsibilities at Visometry?
As a product owner for Twyn, my main focus is understanding our users’ challenges and working with the team to implement the right solutions within the product. What I find especially exciting is identifying workflows that can be transformed through the use of Augmented Reality, creating entirely new possibilities and delivering real value to our customers.

3) What do you find exciting or impressive about Visometry?
What impresses me most is the level of trust and responsibility that employees are given at Visometry. Good ideas are welcomed regardless of a person’s role and are genuinely heard. This creates an environment where you are not just completing tasks, but where you can truly make an impact.

4) What makes our team special to you?
Our team combines a great deal of energy, initiative, and a shared desire to continuously improve things. Ideas are discussed openly, and everyone has the opportunity to take ownership and responsibility. I particularly appreciate the strong focus on our users and the motivation to develop solutions together as a team.

5) What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In my free time, I am actively involved in Frankfurt’s maker community. I enjoy working on projects related to 3D printing, electronics, and soldering.

Ever wondered who works at Visometry? Sabrina Horn has been part of the team for over a year. Here, she shares how she joined Visometry, what her responsibilities are, and what makes the team so special. ☺️

How long have you been working at Visometry, and how did you end up there?

I worked at Visometry for almost a year as a working student in the marketing team. Since April 2026, I’ve been working full-time there. I first became interested in the company because of augmented reality, as I wrote my master’s thesis on the topic of “AR and VR in an educational context.” This gave me the opportunity to effectively combine the subject of my master’s thesis with my work at Visometry.

What are your responsibilities at Visometry?

I come up with ideas for social media posts (Instagram and Facebook) and write search engine-optimized-content for the website. I also help out at events and take photos and videos.

What do you find exciting or impressive about Visometry?

I find Visometry very impressive because, despite being a small company, it has experienced significant growth. Additionally, the AR technologies Twyn and VisionLib are highly interesting and innovative solutions for industrial companies.

What makes our team special to you?

The team consists of very friendly people who value work-life balance, which I really appreciate.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy jogging, dancing, and going for walks with my dog. I also love traveling with my boyfriend in the van we built ourselves.
