Following the invitation by Faltpavillon, FONDATION TSCHUESS () is presenting a floral arrangement in the courtyard of the Kunstverein Braunschweig.

MARA WOHNHAAS, MATTHIAS HOLZNAGEL, and HAGEN EBERLE—alias Fondation Tschuess—operate on a case-by-case basis. The focus is on exhibition-making. Fondation Tschuess places its trust in artistic approaches and seeks to foster them. Under the pressure of circumstances, Fondation Tschuess operates without a permanent location, instead continually moving into options.

Faltpavillon is an itinerant exhibition vessel created in 2020 by artists MICHAEL RAY-VON () and FINN CURRY (.curry). The format is a 3 x 3 meter folding tent assembled at a new site for each presentation. The tent extends the aesthetic threshold into its context.

You're invited to the opening of "Weeds" on June 26 at 7 pm. Stay tuned for more information about the exhibition.

We’re excited to announce MICHAEL RAY-VON’s (*1988, California; lives and works in Basel) () first institutional exhibition, “Interference Pattern”.

For the show, Michael Ray-Von foregrounds the mechanisms and processes that construct our perception. New productions in the register of sculpture and photography condense the exhibition space into a configuration of physical and optical shifts, which confuse usual patterns of orientation and respond to the movement of visitors. In keeping with the exhibition’s title, the works insist on the interplay of different perspectives and systems of reference in the production of experience.

Please join us for the opening evening on June 26 at 7 pm.

"Slant"

For her first institutional solo exhibition in Germany, LIESL RAFF (*1979 in Stuttgart; lives and works in Vienna) () transforms Villa Salve Hospes into an expansive installation occupying the entire ground floor.

Working with natural rubber, light and architectural intervention, she turns the villa into a sequence of navigable situations where perception, movement and atmosphere are constantly reconfigured. Latex functions as both surface and structure, shifting between painterly and sculptural qualities.

Sensitive to light, air and temperature, the material remains in flux throughout the exhibition, producing a changing visual environment.

Rather than illustrating space, Raff actively reworks it: axes are interrupted, sightlines filtered and architectural order subtly displaced.

"Slant" becomes a choreographed shift in spatial perception, where material, body and architecture remain in continuous negotiation.

We look forward to welcoming you to the opening on June 26 at 7 pm. Stay tuned for more information about the exhibition.

With "Attic", the Kunstverein Braunschweig presents the first institutional exhibition in Germany by ANNETTE SENNEBY (*1951 in Gothenburg; lives and works in Stockholm) () on the upper floor of the villa, offering insight into her long-standing artistic practice. Her work operates in the field of tension between painting and sculpture, understanding the image as a spatial point of departure that unfolds across site specific interventions. Through the interaction of pigment, material, and physical forces, processes of condensation, flow, and dissolution emerge, in which boundaries, gravity, and movement are continually renegotiated.

Join us for the opening on June 26 at 7 pm. More information about the exhibition will follow soon.
