FROM COMPLIANCE TO CONFIDENCE WITH NIS2 🔒

From data breaches and ransomware to disrupted services, 21.5% of European companies reported ICT security incidents in 2023. These numbers from Eurostat’s recent study reveal how exposed Europe’s digital economy remains. With 42.2% Finland is on the top of the list, followed by Poland (32.5%) and Malta (28.7%). Meanwhile, Austria (11.5%), Slovenia (11.6%) and Bulgaria (12.1%) had the lowest shares.

⚠️ But here’s the key: these figures reflect a pre-NIS2 reality. The sectors hit hardest—electricity, gas and water, information and communication, professional and technical services, and real estate—are those who are now classified as essential and important entities within the new directive.
