Hello gaming friends,

in "Caribbean Treasure Hunt - A " you will command a crew of sailors and adventures and lead them to a glorious treasure. We are happy to show you how the crew will look like. Their appearance will differ depending on their rank and specialization.

To have enough variance we implemented a modular character system that divides the characters into their heads, torso and legs. The second image shows the torso of the middle character with the head and legs of the right character. Beside switching meshes to change their body-parts, our material also allows us to color parts of their cloth. With those two techniques, we hope to ensure that every crewmate in a play-through will look unique.

Hello gaming friends,

although we got silent in the last weeks we got a lot of work done. I published an article about our new random number generation solution for Treasure Hunt: https://www.rubin-games.de/random-number-generation/ on Tuesday.

We're looking forward to the next playtest on October the 21th to checkout some new gameplay-systems. Meanwhile, we're in the preparation phase for the Games Connection in Paris early November. Well, to summarize we have a big load of work. Nevertheless this week, we just started to raise the pace on the social media channels! :-)

Ahoy Treasure-Hunters,

we're loading our ship and will set sails to visit / tomorrow. is an important game-development conference in Europe and takes place before , the biggest games exhibition here in Europe.

In the next week we will flood our Twitter Accounts with impressions and experiences of those events. Show to colleagues from the industry and have a great time with great people from the coolest industry.

Nils worked with Maya in the past and started to work with blender for the development of Caribbean Treasure Hunt. He learnt a lot about during the last year while creating Assets for . Thats why, Nils sat down and wrote an article about 10 useful tips when using for game-art creation.

Hello gaming-friends,

In the last months a lot of work has been done. The shown picture has been taken on our first playtest. We also shared some gif animations of the new character model on Twitter and meanwhile we're working on a HUD overhaul for the next Playtest version!

We're looking forwad to Sunday next week. Because then it's time again - In the picture you get an impression of what that means: Gamers, Devs, Fun, Drinks and valuable feedback for the further development of Caribbean Treasure Hunt .
