Remote production isn’t new. But this approach changes both where and how it can work.

Together with DMC Production, we have delivered a software-defined OB truck built around a simple idea: process where the action happens, control from anywhere.

At the core of the system is Grass Valley AMPP, running all essential production functions directly inside the truck - from video and audio mixing to replay and multiview.

With this setup, full productions can be realized with up to 16 cameras - on just 100 Mbit/s links.

But the real impact goes beyond technology:
This concept is already being deployed for German 3rd league football coverage and is designed to scale across distributed production hubs such as Munich and other European locations.

It enables productions in places where traditional remote workflows struggle:
• Smaller stadiums and decentralized sports venues
• Locations with limited connectivity
• Multi-location productions with distributed teams
• Entertainment formats with hybrid on-site and remote workflows

No need to move every signal to a central hub.

No need for high bandwidth-infrastructures at every venue.

Instead:
• Lower connectivity requirements
• Leaner on-site crew
• Fewer resources and vehicles on the road
• Greater flexibility in how and where productions are realized

Just a smarter signal path.

This is what we call Reverse Remote Production.

Broadcast Solutions continues to expand its capabilities: BFE Studio und Medien Systeme GmbH has joined the group.

BFE is a well-established system integrator in the German-speaking broadcast and media market, with decades of experience in studio and production technology, media IT, and control centre and control room systems.

By combining our complementary portfolios, we are strengthening our technological expertise and our ability to deliver complex broadcast, media and communication infrastructure projects end-to-end.

What this means:
• Expanded expertise across studio, production and media IT
• Stronger engineering and development capabilities
• More comprehensive project delivery - from planning to long-term support

BFE will continue to operate as an independent company under its established brand, with offices in Mainz and Vienna. Existing structures, teams and customer relationships remain in place.

Broadcast Solutions is delivering its largest outside broadcast contract to date – an advanced Ultra HD OB fleet for TRT , Turkey’s national broadcaster.

The project includes eight state-of-the-art units, combining two large trailers and six trucks, featuring UHD workflows, hybrid 12G-SDI/IP infrastructure, and scalable configurations of up to 23 cameras in the largest trailers.

Designed for maximum flexibility, redundancy and future-proof production, the new fleet is already in daily operation - supporting major sporting events, entertainment productions and international coverage at the highest level.

A milestone project that once again underlines Broadcast Solutions’ expertise in delivering complex, high-performance broadcast infrastructures.

We couldn’t be prouder of the customer’s feedback. “We needed a technical partner with a real depth of knowledge and experience in systems integration and outside broadcast manufacture,” said Alperen Aydin, CTO of TRT. “Broadcast Solutions had these skills, and they also demonstrated their understanding of the philosophy behind these projects”.

Power on the outside. Precision on the inside. From the first sketch to the final build, this vehicle was designed with one clear purpose: bringing command and control exactly where it’s needed.

Built on a robust Mercedes‑Benz Arocs 6×6 platform with NATO off‑road tyres, the vehicle combines extreme mobility with a distinctive expedition‑inspired appearance. The two‑tone exterior uses colours carefully selected to withstand intense sunlight, while a double‑roof structure ensures full walkability and additional shading.

Inside, it delivers the full capabilities of a mobile command centre, designed for seamless interoperability with stationary control centre environments.

Equipped with:
• A Barco system for maximum flexibility on the operator wall
• Three fully equipped operator stations with generous workspace
• Integrated support for reconnaissance drones

On the outside, the vehicle provides exceptional functionality:
• Four deployable masts for C2 and drone detection technology
• A roof‑mounted crane system for equipment handling
• A main mast capable of carrying over 350 kg
• A large storage area for mission‑critical equipment

Encouraging young talent starts with curiosity – and that is exactly what Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day are all about. The participants had the chance to take a look behind the scenes at our company, try things out and experience just how varied and exciting technology, craftsmanship and media production can be. We wholeheartedly support the aim of this event: to promote career guidance free from stereotypes.

Whether in the workshop, in a technical environment or perhaps later in the planning and implementation of complex broadcast projects: we firmly believe that genuine enthusiasm arises when you are allowed to get stuck in and try things out for yourself.
