"THE LOST ART OF RUNNING”

Rediscovering the Art of Marathon Posters

You may or may not know this about us but the Berlin Braves has a huge fascination with vintage marathon posters, and for years they’ve been part of our inspiration.

This year we wanted to honour the Berlin Half Marathon and all the family and friends that have been running this race since we started organising our Homies Half weekend in 2013, following the birth of the BTG community in Berlin. Big S/O to Mike Saes and Charlie Dark for inspiring us and so many others to keep giving back to the global running community.

e.V teamed up with their local friends TheOlifants Berlin] to invite and curate 15 artists from around the world to design this year's Berlin Half Marathon poster. We gave the artists complete creative freedom to express their unique representation of the Homies Half, producing these special pieces.

Dr.Ank: 'Sober, No More Mistakes' Vernissage 2nd of March .berlin

2nd of march

15 hand-drawn paintings. The exhibition reveals the wild, destructive life of the artist .ank1 before going completely sober in 2018. Days and nights full of drinks, pills, joints, and love. The images are extreme but so familiar because we all know a Dr.Ank or have one inside.
The artist invites you to connect with your inner Dr.Ank in a positive way.
Welcome drinks followed by a speech by the artist and funky tunes by DJlee
