A great coach make all the difference between a startup that stalls and one that finds its footing.

Across nine months, we pair our founders directly with practitioners who've done the work themselves, whether that's raising capital, running pilots, or scaling a team.

Meet six of our coaches guiding this Tomorrow Accelerator cohort:

-Anastasia Patsouri leads our Sales Masterclass and 1:1 coaching. She works with founders until they can run a sales process and close deals on their own.
-Dr. Arndt Schwaiger teaches the Startup Metrics Masterclass. He helps founders learn which numbers investors actually care about.
-Christoph Rohde runs the Investment Readiness Masterclass. At FASE he has helped founders raise more than €15 million, and he preps ours the same way.
-Rémi Laoubi coaches Making Your Pilot Successful. He shows founders how to turn one pilot into a repeatable contract.
-Zoe Hille guides our Foundation and Design Sprints. She gets a founding team from rough idea to tested concept in a week.
-Michael Smart leads our Foundation, Design, and Branding Sprints. He co-built the 4-day Design Sprint, and now runs it for our founders.

Thank you to our coaches. Six practitioners giving their time, their expertise, and their networks to the founders of tomorrow.

There's a room in Malmö this September where Europe's climate capital quietly decides what happens next. We've got a limited number of complimentary tickets to get Berlin's climate change-makers inside.

We're of course talking about The Drop, one of Europe's leading climate tech gatherings, bringing together founders, investors and operators shaping the biggest bets of the decade. It sits at the heart of our ClimateX Go Global delegation to the Nordics.

The Drop is the climate conference that breaks from the traditional format. No booths, no pitch-blasting. Instead, over a thousand curated founders and investors in one room, ready for the fundraising conversations and market feedback you only get from people deploying capital.

The full delegation runs from 14 to 16 September, anchored to The Drop and with an extra day of introductions and access to the people and parts of the ecosystem the conference doesn't cover.

If you're a Berlin-based climate founder ready to scale beyond your home market, the Danish-Swedish market is one of the smartest places to start. It's where climate solutions get bought, and The Drop is your way in.

A handful of complimentary tickets come with the delegation (normally €400 plus VAT). First come, first served. Application link in bio.

Three founders. Three cross-border business cases. One evening in Berlin.
This Thursday at Berlin × Nordics Climate Night, on top of our first round of speakers, we're adding a panel session to the program: Startup Stories.

Founders sharing how cross-border collaboration can work in practice, how to enter the market, experiences with The Drop, and why the market is interesting to them.

On stage:
🎤 Belén Martínez, Founder of MARCH
🎤 Jen Godderidge, Founder of atmo
🎤 Sebastian Daus, Founder of FixFirst - Make Repair Happen

Come if you're a climate founder eyeing the Nordic market, an investor backing companies in the region, or an operator already working between the two. the panel is the starting point: the rest of the evening is open networking with drinks, so you'll leave with new contacts, not just notes.

📅 This Thursday, 9 July
⏰ 18:00–21:00
📍 CIC Berlin, Lohmühlenstraße 65

BIA team scavenger hunt and dinner last night 🤩

With the help of the amazing cityHUNT app, we had our own custom challenges around Mitte and Prenzlauer Berg that we had to complete to earn points in a limited time.

We're talking posing the same way a statue does, finding someone walking two dogs (surprisingly hard), giving an impromptu Ted Talk and so so much more.

In fact both teams completed around 40 tasks in just a couple of hours.
Huge shout out to Scott Parker-Yates, king of the scavenger, who organized the whole thing.

An absolute blast and a unique team event before dinner. Check out cityHunt!

Tomorrow Accelerator Kickoff Day!

Yesterday was one of the most exciting days of the year in our startup hub calendar. Our 9-month accelerator program officially kicked off, bringing together 8 teams from a pool of over 300 applicants!

These select early-stage startups are building the solutions to tomorrow's most important global challenges in AI, climate, and deep tech. These are exactly the kind of founders our future needs, and we're backing them all the way.

So without further ado, we're delighted to introduce you to the teams joining our program in 2026:

Kalz: Turning CO2 and industrial waste into sustainable cement, at scale
Kodnyx: Cutting industrial costs by up to 35% by optimizing electricity architecture
LinePulse: Detecting and resolving factory floor issues with AI agents
mloda: Creating an open standard for AI-agent data access
One Roof: Making sustainable construction the new standard
Phasis: Solving heating and cooling spikes with carbon-negative thermal storage
Renion: Optimizing biogas plants with pre-treated biochar
Rollout: Automating compliance with full traceability

They now have nine months of runway and support to focus deeply on their ideas. As our founder Darius Moeini put it to the teams, this opportunity is a real privilege, and one BIA is proud to make possible through the backing of the Berlin Senate, whose program keeps investing in the next generation of innovative Berlin-based companies driven to scale and and lead their fields.

We can't wait to watch how their journeys unfold, and we'll keep you updated every step of the way.

You'll often hear AI described in three tiers and it helps to have a basic understanding of where we are right now, and where we might be headed.

🔹 𝗔𝗡𝗜 — 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 World-class specialists. They can beat you at chess or read a thousand invoices in a second — but they can't generalize. Every AI system in existence today, including ChatGPT, is ANI.

🔹 𝗔𝗚𝗜 — 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 A system that can solve problems across any domain as well as a human can, transferring capability across contexts. Despite the headlines, most computer scientists agree this doesn't exist yet.

🔹 𝗔𝗦𝗜 — 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 The hypothetical point at which machines exceed human capability in almost every way. For now, it's purely theoretical. Today's models are impressive. They pass the bar exam. They match human benchmarks.

But don't confuse system capability with genuine human understanding. It's still mathematics at work, extremely powerful, but narrow.

Getting clear on the fundamentals like this is what makes the difference between reacting to every new headline and building a steady, informed view of where AI can actually move the needle.

That clarity is what good decisions are built on. 💪

“We needed more business opportunities.”
That's how Anastasia Sukhoroslova describes the moment she joined our Accelerator.

Her platform was running. The community was growing organically. But she needed to productize the community. To learn the tools and make the intentional business moves that would scale her growth 10x faster.

A few years after graduating from our program, All Things Urban has evolved into the world's leading career ecosystem for urbanists:
→ 100,000+ professionals
→ Practitioners across 45+ countries
→ Expanding into France, the UK and the US

Swipe through to see Anastasia's story — and what the Accelerator delivered.

What does it actually look like to join an accelerator and have your idea turn into a proper company?

For Harriet von Kügelgen and the team at dauri — who are turning sustainability reporting into profitable climate action — joining our program last year meant the transformation from a promising project into a real business with a tangible product, paying customers AND even settling into a physical office. 🏢

For Harriet, the real shift came from how the program reshaped dauri from the inside out. Access to experienced mentors across a wide range of topics pushed the team to question their assumptions and look at their work through a new lens.

That outside perspective, combined with the structure and pace of the program, is what turned a promising idea into a structured, commercially-viable business with the professionalism to match.

Ready to follow in their footsteps? Applications for our next cohort of our 9-month program close May 21st.

If you are building in Climate, Deep Tech, and AI, we want to hear from you.
