ZH Fine Art Services

ZH Fine Art Services REDAH is an artist-run gallery & photographic service provider It enticed amateurs and professional artists alike, keen on exploring new projects.

REDAH began as a weekly critique session using the name FK-Kollektiv, open to anyone who wanted to show their creative works, offer insight, or simply come and observe. In our space, artists can develop film, scan, and print; allowing them to create artwork affordably. The melting pot of people is exciting, pushing artists to dive deeper into their work, gain a sense of community in the local art

industry, and build the confidence to continue pursuing their creative passions. REDAH blossomed into a thriving art store with a network of artists, such as photographers, sculptors, installation artists, illustrators, performers, and dancers - all running workshops, creating collaborations, and eliciting reactions and conversations. We are an organically grown sphere that supports and breeds local art and artistic experiments. We engage in all practices with the knowledge that art can and should be progressive. We question the status quo and allow for new ways of thinking. We are intersectionally feminist, anti-racist, and queer. REDAH offers growing professional services and a self-service lab dedicated to providing high-quality and professional-grade equipment to artists at affordable costs. The upkeep of the space and affordable services are supported by our growing membership of patrons and donors, funds from our services, and our art store.

Concept of PALAVRA
Turkish: untruthful, long and empty talk.
Latin: word, speech
On the theme of love, loss and longing.
The often occurring metaphysical, indistinct state of incompleteness.
Essentially, longing for longing.
The transformation of conceptualisation of Love, from the loaded words of ghazals to today’s
constantly shapeshifting meaning, perhaps removing what was longed for, emptying it, into a
long empty talk, Palavra to Palavra.

Collab with and !

Analog Art Photography (AAP) is a new gallery and hub for film photography in Leipzig. With Mihai Barabancea as one of the first artists represented by AAP we are delighted to have his work on display as part of Kiez Koop. 02.-04. June

Barabancea's protagonists are night owls, daydreamers, winners and losers. His works reflect how artificial social stereotypes influence society and how reductive narratives shape contemporary culture. Barabancea seeks to challenge the status quo and ridicule the notion of superficial, shallow normality through his images of the absurd and grotesque.

Barabancea reaches his audience through the publication of his works in photo books. The book will be available in the exhibition.

Introducing Juliette Valentin for the upcoming show Planetary Wanderings // March 17th // Month of Photography in Berlin.

Juliette Valentin is a french photographer and director of photography that made part of her career in South America. Previously studying a philosophy degree and growing up in a family of artists, poetry is present on everyday life. As John Keats says « Poetry soothes and emboldens the soul to accept the mystery ». She is also a traveler. She believes that the encounter of the other, of the different cultures, is a magical moment that allows us to be better persons.

Exploring magnificence in the mundane

// PLANETARY WANDERINGS

Vernissage //
March. 17 2023 at 18:00

REDAH Gallery // Silbersteinstr.133, 12051 Berlin

We invite you to welcome Juliette Nina Valentin with her ongoing project exploring the world through the photographic lens for the European month of photography gallery opening!

It was during her wanderings around the world that Juliette Nina Valentin captured these few shots which opened up her eyes to see magnificence in the mundane. Transport is a central element of the stories that are told on the paths of the world, between landscapes and encounters. Only in film and without digital transformation, we return to the sensations of the origins of photography. We feel the fragility of time and of the moment suspended, forever lost.
